Puerto Montt: journée complète sur l'île de Chiloé pour visiter les pingouins à Puñihuil

Lors de cette excursion de 10 heures, nous allons visiter une belle colonie de pingouins, ainsi que l'île magique de Chiloé. Cette excursion part tous les jours, tôt le matin au départ de Puerto Montt.

Itinéraire
Nous commençons la visite par notre chemin vers Pargua, au sud de la ville de Puerto Varas; ici nous allons monter à bord d'un ferry pour naviguer dans le canal de Chacao, ce canal sépare le continent de l'île de Chiloé. Pendant la navigation, nous voyons des loups de mer, des pélicans et des oiseaux de mer endémiques dans cette région. Le traversier se jette à quai à Chacao, nous voyons ici les maisons construites en bois d’Alerce et les églises faisant partie du patrimoine national.
Continuez ensuite sur une route côtière et nous allons visiter la plage de Caulín, un lieu très célèbre pour ses huîtres et sa riche faune marine.
après nous irons à la plage de Puñihuil; nous avons un bateau qui nous mènera à une petite île où nous trouvons les manchots magallanes et Humboldt, c’est le lieu où ces deux espèces nichent, puis au cours de générations où elles ont coexisté ensemble, faisant de cette île le seul dans le monde où cela se produit. Le guide touristique nous expliquera le mode de vie de ces oiseaux, les environs et l’abondance de nourriture qui permet à ces îles de devenir un paradis sauvage. Il est important de dire que Puñihuil a été déclaré patrimoine national pour sa pertinence écologique.
Le fort de San Antonio; ce lieu historique est situé dans la partie la plus élevée de la ville, construite vers la fin du XVIIIe siècle et fait partie de l’une des dernières fortications espagnoles de notre pays,
Après avoir poursuivi notre voyage vers la ville d'Ancud, où nous pouvons voir la fondation du patrimoine des églises locales, la place des Mains et le marché central, celui-ci offre de nombreuses options gastronomiques et artisanales de l'île.

Excellent tour to the island of Chiloe. Great - if distant- views of the Andes. Interesting towns. Penguins and other birdlife. Delicious lunch. Outstanding guide.
Right on time for pickup, Jenny made small modifications to the order of the tour to get us the best opportunities for the best experience. Jenny speaks fluent English and kept her English speaking passengers well informed with information and local atories. Alex kept us safe on the road.
We had a very good experience on the tour, everything very beautiful, the guide very clear when explaining and the journey times were punctual
Stop in small town was cute. Advise to wear warm and waterproof clothing for the penguin portion - you transfer to a small boat. You do have the option to leave things on the bus which is nice. The food you have to pay for due to no other options was not good - bring snacks. The last stop was unnecessary in a town that was mostly shut down. The bus itself was very very very nice and comfortable.
Chiloe Island visiting Penguins in Puñihuil was a fantastic day out led by Jenny. Jenny kept us fully informed of all the activates and had very good customer service. Her organisation skills were second to none and i / we can fully recommend this amazing day out.
We could see the penguins very close. During the ferry I could see 3 seals. Lunch was good and at a very fair price with dessert and coffee. Overall a long trip and Jenny talks continuously throughout the journey

This was a great excursion, and it was a very comfortable and not too exhausting. There is a lot to see in Chiloe, and the tour guide did a great job of making sure everything was clear. The penguins were great and adorable, and every stop was worthwhile.
Probably an 8.5/10. Good communication to arrange pick up and then the evening before. Fun boat ride and interesting to see the penguins on their islands. First stop in a quaint village square and good views from the last stop at the fort. Good to see some of the island, but inevitably quite a lot of driving and didn’t see the need for a second craft shopping experience. Need to factor in the boat trip and lunch costs, although these were mentioned beforehand. Think the info. beforehand also mentioned a max. of 14 in the group, but this doubled.
Even though the distance that I needed to travel was quite long, the others were increíble. The guys(Javier, Eric) were super friendly, penguins were extremely cute and the overall of Chiloe was more than I expected. Highly recommend
