Nous sommes la seule entreprise à proposer une authentique randonnée nocturne au cœur de la forêt tropicale, au pied du majestueux volcan Arenal. De plus, nous sommes la seule entreprise locale certifiée « Famille et Enfants bienvenus », idéale pour s'amuser en famille et adaptée à tous les âges. Cette expérience se déroule dans un environnement 100% naturel ; il ne s'agit pas d'un environnement contrôlé. Les animaux vivent en totale liberté, chaque promenade est donc différente et les observations peuvent varier d'une nuit à l'autre. Accompagnés d'un guide naturaliste expert, nous explorerons les sentiers du Mirador El Silencio. Au cours de cette excursion, nous partirons à la recherche de grenouilles telles que la grenouille en forme de sablier, la grenouille Blue Jeans et l'emblématique rainette aux yeux rouges. Il est également possible d'y observer des insectes, des reptiles et des serpents exotiques. Avec un peu de chance, nous pourrions trouver des mammifères comme des paresseux, des opossums ou des fourmiliers. Pour profiter de cette expérience en toute sécurité, il est essentiel de porter des chaussures fermées.

Plongez au cœur de l'une des forêts les plus emblématiques du Costa Rica grâce à notre excursion nocturne à La Fortuna, une expérience qui débute à 17h30 précises et vous invite à découvrir la magie de la forêt tropicale au pied de l'imposant volcan Arenal. Au cours de cette visite guidée, vous découvrirez l'histoire géologique qui a façonné notre pays, l'influence des volcans sur l'écosystème local et les particularités du climat de la région. À la tombée de la nuit, la jungle s'éveille et vous pouvez observer l'incroyable faune et flore nocturnes de La Fortuna. Parmi les animaux que l'on trouve habituellement, citons des amphibiens et des reptiles fascinants tels que les grenouilles de verre, les rainettes, les grenouilles pluviales, les crapauds des forêts humides et le grand crapaud buffle ; ainsi que des serpents comme le serpent corail, le bocaracá, le serpent à main de pierre et le célèbre terciopelo. Il est également possible d'observer des mammifères tels que des coatis, des tatous, des opossums, des singes hurleurs, des cercopithèques à face blanche et des singes-écureuils.

Le transport inclus ne concerne que les hôtels du centre-ville de Fortuna et les hôtels situés sur la route menant au Mirador El Silencio. L'heure de prise en charge peut varier entre 30 et 40 minutes avant le début de l'activité.

We had an amazing night tour around Arenal Volcano with Nei and Oli! We saw so many animals, and Nei’s knowledge about wildlife, plants and nature made the experience really interesting and educational. It was clear how passionate Nei is and we learned so much along the way. Oli, the driver, was also very friendly and kind-hearted and made us feel comfortable throughout the tour. A wonderful experience and definitely worth it!
We loved this walk! A top favorite of all the activities we did this week. The kids and adults loved seeing all the animals including frogs, snakes, and spiders. Eric was a great guide and we highly recommend this tour!

It's all about the guide. My guide, Eric, was awesome and had an amazing eye. The area covered is not that big so it's suitable for most. Not suitable for those who need an aid for mobility

This was a fantastic experience. On time hotel pickup, friendly and very funny guide Eddy, and we saw snakes; a variety of them, red eyed frogs, scorpions, spiders, freshwater crabs, stick bugs, butterflies and moths, fireflies; he told us to turn off all of our lights for a beautiful night view. We were given lamps, and he offered to take amazing photos for us and it was truly a great experience.. i had a 6 years old with me who was happy and taken care of! 100% would do it again.

Just didn’t think this was worth it at all. Saw spiders, bugs, and a few frogs. Didn’t need to walk through the forest at night for 2 hours just to see bugs. The frogs at the end were neat but not enough to make the whole trip worthwhile.

Our Night Walk takes place in a natural rainforest, where every tour is unique and wildlife sightings vary from night to night. We never use captive animals or artificially place wildlife along the trail, so what we encounter depends entirely on nature, the weather, and the animals' activity. Unlike experiences that focus only on ponds or gardens, our tour is a guided hike through the tropical rainforest at the base of Arenal Volcano. As we explore the forest, we search for a wide variety of nocturnal wildlife, including frogs, snakes, insects, spiders, birds, and mammals in their natural habitat. While many guests are excited to observe these animals and learn about the rainforest ecosystem, we understand that everyone's expectations are different. The experience was great, we had Eric as a guide, he was an awesome guy. Upfront he told us what we were looking for, and what the best places were to look. So that every guest was able to help and find as many animals as we could. The tour took almost 2 hours. And at the end we stopped by the pond were we saw multiple species of frogs and an eyelash viper. We were with a group of total 9 people, which is the maximum. Otherwise you won’t be able to hear the guide anymore. At first the price looked a little too much. But at the end it was a price I would gladly pay again. It is suitable for everyone who is able to walk a maximum of 2km downhill.

The activity turned out to be very interesting and we were able to observe several types of frogs, some spiders, and snakes.

Recommend if you drive - have a reliable car or a rental that can go over some small rocks - the entrance is not far from the main road but a vehicle with good tires is recommended. The tour itself was good and safe especially with our guide. Overall the trails are marked and well maintained. Like any trail - especially in a tropical setting and at night - do not stray from the trail. Wildlife was good and what I expected. If expecting to see a mountain lion or predator like species - keep your expectations down quite a bit as our guide mentioned they exist but overall tend to stay away from humans PLUS not a good idea to confront one of those no matter how tough you think you are. Overall thought the tour was good. Depending on your budget - it may or maybe be a bit on the pricey side compared to others. But I suspect you pay for what you get.
