Beautiful place, very nice guide, moderate to easy route. You can „cheat” on a way back and return by the boat (another superb experience).

Marco is a very good guide. He was good at communicating prior to the excursion to ensure our pick up at the cruise port worked out smoothly based upon our arrival and disembarkation. We enjoyed the experience and the education that Marco provided. We recommend Marco!

Marco’s knowledge of the geology and history of Madeira Island made the spectacular walk even more interesting and enjoyable. He was easy to be with and a great tour guide. Such a dramatic part of the island.

Marco was our guide in this gorgeous area and he was the absolute best! He was patient while we took lots of pictures, he was kind and polite and he taught us a lot about the vegetation and the geology of the land we were looking at. He also answered lots of questions about Portugal history. He made our day fun and rewarding!

A challenging hike if you‘re a little less than averagely fit like me, but Francisco helped me through it and I made it all the way to the end and on top of the Mountain at the end. What a view, what an experience! Wouldn‘t wanna miss it now. Had some nice conversations with Francisco along the way … he‘s a very friendly and chill guy 😊 10/10 would recommend!

Ponta de Sao Laurenco is one of the highlights of my first trip to Madeira and Pearl of the Atlantic made it possible for me to roam around freely and take photos with my trusty guide Richard.
