Itinéraire
Visite de l'intérieur du centre historique de Sanmachi Suji (Kamisan-no-machi) pour parler de la culture locale, de l'histoire, de la production et de la dégustation du saké. La visite se termine au pont Nakabashi. Un aperçu de la belle ville en une heure !
Une très ancienne cave à saké avec son excellent vin japonais local. La dégustation comprend plus de six types de saké et quelques produits distillés (la dégustation ne doit pas être complétée même par un couple ou un seul parmi leur vaste choix). Une grande variété et un goût varié pour un saké japonais local que l'on ne peut déguster qu'à Takayama. Des frais supplémentaires s'appliquent à la dégustation, mais l'entrée est gratuite.

We had a great time with Luca, who shared with us about the history of Takayama, brought us to a miso brewery where we got to try to some miso, and he also showed us some of the beautiful crafts of the area (which we loved!). At the end of the tour we went into a sake brewery where Luca shared with us the basic theory behind sake brewing, we tasted some sakes together, and he left us there to keep tasting sake on our own.
We had the pleasure of a tour in Takayama with the energetic guide, Luca. Our tour of the old town included Sake and miso tastings, as well as such at a very traditional restaurant. Luca is knowledgeable, flexible, energetic and fun, filled with love for his new hometown. Highly recommend any tour with him.

This tour with Luca was more than just tasting sake. He offered tid bits of Takayama city and cultural history, sake brewing and even some dining advice. It was nicely paced and very enjoyable... all squeezed into the 1-hour tour.
Luka was so informative with local historical information including all the different Sake's and Grappa. It felt like the tour was tailor made for me. He knew all the answers to my questions and more. Would highly recommend this to everyone

I booked this tour as a last minute experience. I thought it odd, but there wasn't a set time for the event. The next morning, Luca sent me a message that it would be in the afternoon but; unfortunately, my train wasn't scheduled to arrive in time. Fortunately, for me, Luca was very accommodating & held a special session for me & my friend. I'm so grateful he did, as it was a great experience! Luca was very friendly & extremely knowledgeable about Takayama & its sake. I'm glad I didn't miss out.

Horrible! Don't waste your money. There's no time listed on the ad. I got a WhatsApp message 5 minutes before the tour was to start and he says he won't let me come at a different time and no refunds. Buyer beware!
This is a fabulous tour. Luca speaks many different languages with excellent English. If you want a taste of history, miso and info on sake making and tasting this is a great choice. Luca even gave us a great recommendation and helped us with booking a fantastic restaurant. Highly recommended.
