Notre premier arrêt est le point de vue près du petit village de Majkovi, situé sur les collines surplombant les célèbres îles Élaphites. Cet arrêt offre la vue la plus époustouflante de toute la région, où vous pourrez voir les eaux cristallines de la mer Adriatique et une vue de Dubrovnik à l'est jusqu'au parc national de l'île de Mljet et à la péninsule de Pelješac à l'ouest.
Ensuite, nous visiterons la charmante ville de Ston, connue pour ses remparts historiques et la plus ancienne usine de sel d'Europe. Les murs de Ston constituent le système de forteresse le plus long d'Europe, s'étendant sur plus de 5,5 kilomètres (soit les 7 kilomètres d'origine), et ils ont été construits au 14ème siècle pour protéger la ville des envahisseurs. Nous ferons une pause ici pour explorer les murs et découvrir l’histoire et la culture de cette ville fascinante.
Après avoir visité Ston, nous irons dans la baie de Mali Ston et découvrirons le goût irrésistible des huîtres, un délice apprécié depuis des siècles. Remontant à l'époque romaine, l'ostréiculture fait partie intégrante de la baie de Mali Ston. Peu de familles exercent ce métier depuis des générations et nous sommes fiers de vous offrir une expérience authentique de dégustation d'huîtres sans pareille.
Notre prochaine étape est une petite cave familiale dans le village de Ponikve. C’est un spot traditionnel, connu pour sa production haut de gamme. Ici, vous dégusterez quatre vins haut de gamme, trois rouges et un blanc élégant, accompagnés de leur propre huile d’olive maison.

this was the absolutely most amazing experience ever. We went to the mussel farm where the guy literally pulled mussels out of the ocean, shucked them for us, and then cooked them in broth. He served it to us with white wine and bread. It was so peaceful, relaxing, and the food was absolutely amazing. The guide was great, the mussels & oysters were great, and everybody who we spoke to was so nice and welcoming.
Always on time, always helpful and smiling. Excellent service. Highly recommended. Trip to Peljesac was great. Oysters and wine were delicious 🤩
The tour was an interesting combination of local history, scenic beauty, agricultural education, a smorgasbord of oysters and muscles, and local wine.
This was set up so that it could be a rain or shine event which is good because we were dodging storms. This was truly a highlight of our trip! I had no idea it took more than two years to cultivate that tasty oyster on my plate. Great scenery.
What a wonderful excursion this was. Our Airbnb host in Dubrovnik organized this as a diversion for us on our drive from Split to Dubrovnik. We had an opportunity to learn about the harvesting of the oysters and mussels. Our guide did an excellent job explaining everything and then prepared a wonderful feast of oysters, mussels, and anchovies for us to enjoy. I would highly recommend this as both enjoyable and educational.
Fantastic Experience A scenic boat ride over to the farm platform, with informative farming process techniques for Oysters and Mussels. Our lunch was beautiful fresh served oysters and cooked mussels simply and with flavours that were amazing. Highly recommend the Tour with its two highlighted stops to anyone visiting the local Towns, our guide Marko from Cava Tours was very informative, friendly and helpful. Recommend
The whole tour exceeded our expectations! Both the drive there and the oyster farm itself were more than pleasurable. At the oyster platform you are greeted with some homemade shots, get to hear a bit about the whole process and finally you try oysters fresh from the sea. Amazing experience all around.
Had an amazing morning & afternoon driving down to the town of Ston with Mr. Luka from Cava Tours and to the oyster farms. The whole experience was amazing and the details provided during the tour was really good to understand not only the process of oyster farming but also surroundings!! One of the highly recommended things to do when in Dubrovnik & with Cava Tours!!
The whole day was wonderful. We loved the beautiful scenery and boating out to the oyster farm. Our guide/driver “H” did an amazing job and was so informative and easy going. It was definitely one of the highlights of our whole trip.
