BELLE ET AGRÉABLE VISITE À PIED POUR EXPLORER LE CHARMANT QUARTIER DE BORDEAUX AVEC NOTRE SOMMELIER INTERNE AVEC DÉGUSTATION DE VIN ET DE FROMAGE. Cette visite est conçue par notre sommelier et expert en vin interne. Il vous fera flâner dans les rues marchandes de vins classées au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, dont beaucoup ont 300 ans. Nous marcherons pendant près d'une heure pour découvrir le quartier des Chartrons et les berges de Bordeaux tout en découvrant les différents cépages utilisés à Bordeaux, les régions viticoles importantes, comment se procurer une bouteille dans un supermarché ou au restaurant, qu'est-ce que le classement de 1855, comment lire une étiquette comme un professionnel, les monuments historiques du quartier et bien plus encore ! À la fin de la visite, nous mettrons toutes les connaissances théoriques en pratique "apprentissage par la dégustation"… Bravo !! PS - Nous faisons d'autres circuits comme "Bordeaux Organic Food Tour (style Apéro français) dans le quartier Saint Michel et le meilleur de Bordeaux à pied dans le centre-ville, découvrez-les.

Itinéraire
Nous commençons notre visite au cœur des Chartrons également connue sous le nom de rue des Vieux Négociants. Situé sur le "Port de la lune" (le nom français pour Port de la Lune) également un nom familier de Bordeaux datant du 17ème siècle. Aujourd'hui, ils font tous partie du patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco.
Profitez de la belle vue sur la garonne, tout en découvrant son port et son commerce du vin.
En vous tenant au bord de la rivière, vous verrez de loin l'un des plus anciens ponts de Bordeaux, le "Pont de Pierre", construit pour Napoléon Bonaparte et datant du début du 19ème siècle. Nous apprendrons le lien entre le vin et les rois. Attention, le monument ne se visite pas de près.
En regardant vers le nord de Bordeaux, on aperçoit de loin un autre pont important. Vous serez surpris de connaître l’incroyable technologie utilisée pour créer ce superbe pont. Ici, nous découvrirons également les nouvelles technologies utilisées dans l'élaboration des vins. Attention, le monument ne se visite pas de près.
L'une des églises les plus emblématiques de Bordeaux. Vous verrez la beauté de l'église et apprendrez l'histoire qui se cache derrière.
Nous pourrons également apercevoir le plus grand musée d'exposition du vin du monde en amont du fleuve, au nord. Ici, vous découvrirez les régions viticoles et les cépages tout en admirant au loin la beauté du musée du 21e siècle. Attention, le monument ne se visite pas de près.
Nous verrons une maison jumelle "Maisons Jumelles" en anglais. Autrefois habité par un marchand de vin étranger. L'importance des étrangers dans le commerce des vins de Bordeaux.
Préparez-vous pour une dégustation de vins à l'aveugle, c'est le moment d'ouvrir vos sens et de commencer à renifler et à siroter les succulents vins de Bordeaux accompagnés de différents fromages et de baguettes. Votre guide vous expliquera et vous guidera à travers cette expérience dans un bar à vin local.

We were lucky enough to be the only participants with our three group and therefore get an exclusive tour. The small tour of the neighborhood was very informative. Our guide Adrian was very nice and open-minded. Since the weather was quite rainy, the tour was quite close and we are quickly to the wine bar. There Adrian told us a lot about the Bordeaux wines and there were 4 wines (2x red, 2x white) tasted. For us it was just in the right detail and we enjoyed the tour.

I love Viator as you get to meet such lovely and knowledgeable experts like Adrian. We spent a good half hour touring the old part of Bordeaux and then around an hour tasting wine, while Adrian explain the finer points of the region, the grapes, how to match wine with food. Thoroughly recommend the tour, lovely guide, took the time to answer our questions fully and point out places we should visit. 👍🏻🍷
Enjoyed our walking tour with Pascale and discovered some lovely streets/areas we might not otherwise have visited. The wine & cheese tasting was delicious - so much so that we went back the next night for dinner! Would recommend this for a casual, fun and informative way to spend a few hours exploring beautiful Bordeaux

He is very knowledgeable on the history of Bordeaux, and as a sommelier, he took us on a wonderful walk while explaining the wine regions, the grapes grown in this region, and much more. We took a day trip from Paris to Bordeaux for the Wine and Cheese Tasting walking tour, and we were so glad we did! We met Ani several minutes early at the designated meeting point and went from there. Ani is very knowledgeable on the history of Bordeaux, mixing tales of the past with the history and science of wine, doing it all with a fantastic sense of humor!
