Sentinelle du port de Waitemata, le pont du port d'Auckland est un élément d'infrastructure crucial. Harbour Bridge est le seul pont qui relie la métropole du quartier central des affaires à la Côte-Nord et, au-delà, au Northland.
L'emplacement de Maungauika à l'entrée du port de Waitematā en faisait une importante défense côtière. Ce sont les craintes d'une invasion russe dans les années 1880 qui ont conduit à la construction d'un fort et des trois batteries de canons disparues parsemées le long de la maunga (montagne). La réserve historique de Norht Head pourrait changer pour la forêt d'arbres de Kauri en après-midi.
Le mont Eden est le plus haut volcan parmi les 52 volcans d'Auckland. Il mesure 196 mètres de haut. Du sommet, vous pourrez profiter de vues spectaculaires sur la ville et ses ports.
L'un des trésors d'Auckland, les Auckland Domain Wintergardens, ont ouvert leurs portes en 1913 et ont depuis conquis le cœur de nombreuses personnes. Ce jardin abrite une grande collection de chrysanthèmes et met en valeur des plantes rares et exquises.
La cathédrale Holy Trinity est le seul exemple architectural au monde d’une cathédrale gothique du Pacifique. Vous pouvez ressentir à la fois un sentiment de grandeur et de beauté. Vous pouvez également voir l'église Sainte-Marie qui est fabriquée presque exclusivement à partir de cœur Kauri, un bois originaire de Nouvelle-Zélande, et est l'une des rares églises en bois au monde construites dans le style gothique. Lors de la visite de l'après-midi, nous allons au jardin d'hiver au lieu de la cathédrale Holy Trinity en raison de l'heure de fermeture.

We have a fantastic Auckland half day tour with our Tour Guide, Sean Kim. I think we had managed to see the most important highlight of Auckland City. Obviously, Sean is very knowledgeable of the history and culture of New Zealand especially Māori peoples. He is very caring and communicate very well in English too. He also assisted us with a lot of information of few good areas to visit in Rotorua and also some good restaurants recommendation. A highly recommended Tour Guide. Thanks, Wong

Sean was the tour guide. He was awesome communicated in advance to ensure i knew where the pick up would be. Have great detail and history as we went to each location. Knew where the best photo spots/ angles were and offered to take pics (solo traveler)when needed. Overall good experience, great tour guide.

This tour was taken on our last day in Auckland. It started out as a windy rainy day. Thank goodness, the rain stopped but the wind and clouds remained. Regardless of the weather, Sean, our tour guide, was undeterred and gave a great tour. Tour. This is a great way to see other parts of the city and get some great history. This tour takes you outside of the central business district. We loved the different sites and the knowledge that Sean imparted to all of us. If anything, I think my wife and I should have done this trip on the first day we got to Auckland to give us an idea of other places to see for the rest of the time we were here. I would suggest that for people coming to Auckland. It was informative and educational and we enjoyed it. Thanks again to Sean for doing such a great job.
