Visite privée des vignobles au départ de Valence (visite du matin)
Description
C'est une excursion matinale dans la région viticole d'Utiel-Requena. Votre Guide est un sommelier spécialisé dans les vins de Valence, qui vous parlera de l'histoire du vin, des cépages, et bien plus encore ! À 9h30, vous serez pris en charge; nous irons d'abord au village pittoresque de Requena, où nous visiterons quelques grottes du IXe siècle qui servaient à stocker le grain, l'huile et le vin - les vieux pots d'argile sont toujours là. Nous y ferons une première dégustation de vin... De là, nous allons dans une cave près d’Utiel, nous irons dans les vignes et à travers la cave, et nous terminerons par une dégustation de vin de certains de leurs vins. Après la dégustation de vin, nous retournons à Valence, où nous devrions arriver vers 14h00. Cette visite peut être rendue accessible en fauteuil roulant - seulement sur demande, et à l'avance! Si vous êtes 1 - 2 personnes, ou plus de 8, contactez-moi directement! Jusqu'à 4 personnes : J'utilise un petit véhicule électrique SUV MG ZS, confortable pour 4 passagers de taille normale. Faites-moi savoir si vous sentez que vous avez besoin d'un véhicule plus grand (le prix sera différent).

Ce sont des grottes du 9ème siècle qui étaient utilisées pour stocker le grain, la viande et le vin; les beaux vieux pots en argile sont toujours là. Les grottes se trouvent sous les maisons du vieux centre historique du village. Nous ferons une petite visite guidée puis une première dégustation de vins.
Dans cette cave très authentique du 19ème siècle, nous ferons une visite guidée, visitant les vignobles, les zones de production et la salle des barriques; après cela, nous pourrons déguster certains de leurs vins.

My wife and I had an amazing tour of wineries in Utiel-Requena with Johan, who provided door-to-door service from our hotel in Valencia. We started with a walking tour of La Villa de Requena (the Medieval Old Town of Requena), followed by a visit to Bodega Honda in the heart of La Villa. Our next stop was a fun tasting at Bodega Chozas Carrascal followed by lunch (and more wine of course) at Bodega Vera de Estenas. Johan, who is a sommelier, was incredibly knowledgeable about Utiel-Requena wines and provided very informative explanations of all the wines we drank, as well as the wine-making process. If you want to do a winery tour near Valencia, we highly recommend doing it with Johan!

We had a great time with Johan! It was truly a highlight of the trip. My friends and I enjoy drinking wine, but don't know much about it. Johan was knowledgable without being intimidating and had a very good sense of humor about our lack of knowledge. He taught us a lot about the wines but also about the history of the vineyards/towns we visited. We'd do this again in a heart beat.

This was a great experience for our family of 3 young adult sons. None of us are wine experts but we learned so much from our guide, Johan. He covered the basics of wine tasting, he shared his immense knowledge of wine making, and we enjoyed 8 tastings from 2 different wineries. It was a wonderful experience, and we found the history of winemaking in the Requena region fascinating! Again, Johan was fantastic!

As a Sommelier, Johan, was extremely knowledgeable about the different wines as well as the complete wine making process. He was very friendly and seems to have great relationships with the winery and vineyard owners that we visited. If you’re looking to spend half a day learning about and tasting wine grown and made locally in Spain then I highly recommend this tour.
