L'amphithéâtre ou l'arène de Pula est l'un des plus grands amphithéâtres romains du monde. Érigé en 1ère après JC sous le règne de l'empereur Vespasien, il était principalement utilisé pour les combats de gladiateurs devant 23 000 spectateurs. Le plus grand bâtiment ancien d'Istrie est ouvert à la visite pendant la journée et devient un lieu idéal pour les concerts de pop rock, les opéras et les ballets la nuit, ainsi que le festival du film avec plus de 60 ans de tradition.
