La rue Al-Muizz li-Din Allah al-Fatimi ou rue al-Muizz en abrégé, est une rue majeure orientée nord-sud dans la ville fortifiée du Caire historique, en Égypte. C'est l'une des rues les plus anciennes du Caire car elle remonte à la fondation de la ville (sans compter le Fustat antérieur) par la dynastie fatimide au 10ème siècle, sous leur quatrième calife, Al-Mu'izz li-Din Allah (après qui la rue est nommée). La mosquée d'Al-Hakim est une mosquée historique du Caire, en Égypte. Il porte le nom d'Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah (985-1021), le sixième calife fatimide et 16e imam ismaili. La construction de la mosquée a été commencée par le calife al-'Aziz, fils d'al-Mu'izz et père d'al Hakim, en 990 après JC. Elle fut achevée en 1013 par al-Hakim, c'est pourquoi elle porte son nom. Khan el-Khalili est un célèbre bazar et souk situé dans le centre historique du Caire, en Égypte. Établi comme centre de commerce à l’époque mamelouke. Le quartier du bazar est depuis devenu l'une des principales attractions du Caire pour les touristes et les Égyptiens.

C'est l'une des vieilles rues du Caire où l'on sent la marche dans la ville du 10ème siècle. Vous verrez les différents styles architecturaux des minarets des mosquées qui remontent à différentes époques islamiques. Vous pouvez voir des Sabils qui sont de petits kiosques de tradition architecturale islamique où l'eau est distribuée gratuitement aux membres du public par un gardien derrière une fenêtre grillagée.

Khan el-Khalili est un célèbre bazar et souk (ou souk) situé dans le centre historique du Caire, en Égypte. Établi comme centre commercial à l'époque mamelouke et nommé d'après l'un de ses nombreux caravansérails historiques, le quartier du bazar est depuis devenu l'une des principales attractions du Caire pour les touristes et les Égyptiens. Il abrite également de nombreux artisans et ateliers égyptiens impliqués dans la production d'artisanat et de souvenirs traditionnels. Le nom Khan el-Khalili faisait historiquement référence à un seul bâtiment de la région ; aujourd'hui, il désigne l'ensemble du quartier commerçant.

This was part of our 10days tour in Egypt so we had experience with 4 different guides and we had Zizou for this specific day tour and he’s by far the best guide for the whole trip for us - we realised how important it is to have a great guide and how different the experience could end up with a different guide. Zizou is well organised, enthusiastic and passionate which made our day much more interesting and exciting. He is incredibly knowledgeable and fantastic at making the history interesting, and he paced and organised our day perfectly so we didn’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. He is also a great photographer if you like pictures! We’re very happy with the tour and would highly recommend Zizou to anyone traveling in Cairo!

It's a fantastic scene with a strong Arabic atmosphere, an old café, Zizou's accompaniment and instructions, so the whole shopping trip is fruitful! We strongly recommend accompanying guides to visit this market!

My first day in Cairo, I chose this tour in the morning. Enas and her driver pick me up at my hotel promptly @ 4pm. Her driver was a pro at negotiating thru the harry Cairo traffic. Since this was a 4pm tour I got to view Cairo during daylight and the beautiful night lights of my tour. Enas is a lovely tour guide and very personable. I give her 5 stars as my tour was very enjoyable and learnt a lot about Cairo from her. I highly recommend Enas and this tour
