L'une des plus anciennes mosquées d'Amman, reconstruite par le roi Abdallah Ier en 1932 sur le site de celle construite par le deuxième calife, Omar Bin Al-Khattab vers 640 après JC. Les touristes peuvent entrer s'ils sont habillés de manière appropriée. Près de cette mosquée se trouvent deux souks célèbres : Souq Bukharia (bon pour acheter des souvenirs) et Souq Al-Sukar (fruits, légumes, noix et épices.)
Cette maison de ville historique, construite en 1924, a servi de bureau de poste (le premier à Amman), du ministère des Finances et d’hôtel. Aujourd'hui, il a été restauré avec des meubles d'époque par un important homme d'affaires jordanien, qui est également le duc du village de Mukhaybeh. La collection de vieilles photos d’Amman offre un aperçu intéressant d’une époque révolue. C'est tout à fait sous-estimé, mais néanmoins charmant.
Souk el-Khodra, ou le marché aux légumes, est la destination hebdomadaire parfaite pour tous vos fruits et légumes frais. Une grande partie des produits est cultivée localement et les prix sont nettement plus abordables que la plupart des supermarchés d'Amman. Promenez-vous dans le souk et profitez de l'abondance de produits frais de saison disponibles tout en écoutant les mélodies des chants des commerçants, vous incitant à leurs étals, le guide vous fera visiter.
vous goûterez un plat sucré appelé Kunafa, préparé par la famille Habibah qui fabrique ces bonbons depuis les années 1940 ... ils doivent donc faire quelque chose de bien.
Vous pourrez essayer les joyaux cachés, vous visiterez un nombre incalculable de magasins dans le centre-ville d'Amman, des magasins d'épices à la fabrication de votre propre parfum, vêtements traditionnels, souvenirs, etc.
La Balad est la partie la plus ancienne de la ville qui se compose d'une myriade de marchés. La longue histoire de la région laisse un grand nombre de sites historiques, tels que la citadelle d'Amman, le théâtre romain et le Nymphaeum romain que nous traverserons pendant la visite.

Fabulous tour- Ibrahim with Guru walk Really knows the city well and the rich history and the people
We had a wonderful afternoon walking through Amman with our guide Orwah. He was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We tried many great foods from some local places.
Amazing walking tour ! I highly recommend this tour, without a doubt, to anyone travelling to Amman. It is a great way to get to know the city, the country and the local culture. Our guide was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and even changed his plan to add stops depending on our interests (ex: visiting a Mosque). He took his time with us, stopping to sample foods on the way. He was more than generous with his time and knowledge.
I had a terrific time touring the souks in Amman and learning about the history and culture of Jordan. My tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and he helped me find some hidden treasures in the marketplace, as well as providing a wonderful memory of my time in Jordan.

Interesting tour through the market areas. They did not go to any sites. We had less options due to Ramadan, but still got to try a few things. Biggest issue was guide spoke very fast, and was often hard to understand

Our guide Orwa was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, sharing many interesting details about the city’s history. We started at the mosque and then spent the evening walking to many places around downtown markets, where I got to try some local food. It was a fantastic and memorable evening — highly recommended!

Our guide was absolutely amazing. It was like visiting a cousin. He took us through the city like we were truly family. I learned so much about Jordan past and present on the tour. I really wished he was our guide during our entire stay. On this tour I was with my brother but, I often travel alone and would have felt totally safe with our guide. He really felt like my Jordanian cousin. We told him if he ever comes to the United States we would be happy to be his guides
