Rejoignez-nous pour cette visite de 3 heures d'un palais médiéval en plein cœur de Londres. La tour de Londres est pleine d'histoire, une fois une prison, un palais royal, une ménagerie royale et un arsenal. Notre voyage nous conduit à travers plusieurs tours, où nous pouvons revivre la vie des détenus précédents. Le point culminant est la maison de bijoux, où vous serez ébloui par la magnifique exposition de pierres précieuses et les joyaux de la couronne. Votre guide privé Blue Badge est rempli de faits et d'histoires pour vous engager et vous divertir pendant la visite, vous offrant une expérience fantastique. Si vous avez des enfants dans votre groupe, ils répondront à un quiz amusant avec un prix à la fin.

La visite commence à l'heure prévue, votre guide vous attendra au centre d'accueil de la tour, juste à l'extérieur de l'entrée principale. Nous devons passer par quelques portes percées de meurtrières pour pouvoir entrer en toute sécurité. Votre guide vous présentera Merlina, Jubilee, Grip et d’autres corbeaux. Certains pourraient se reposer dans leurs cages, certains sautant librement. Ils pourraient même poser pour une photo, mais ne vous approchez pas trop, ils peuvent mordre! Qui a été emprisonné dans la tour sanglante? Découvrons-le, juste après notre sortie de la salle de torture, où vous pourrez encore voir certains des instruments médiévaux brutaux.
Il est temps d’être impressionné par les bijoux, la couronne, le sceptre, l’orbe et bien d’autres choses encore. L'ensemble de la collection, gardée derrière d'épaisses portes, a une valeur inimaginable.
Nous allons ensuite explorer la tour blanche, la partie la plus ancienne de la forteresse. Rempli d'une armure appartenant autrefois à des rois célèbres, Henri VIII, Charles Ier, pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns. À l’étage supérieur, les enfants et les adultes peuvent participer à une exposition interactive. Il y a tellement de choses à voir autour de la tour de Londres.
Une fois que nous avons échappé à la forteresse, vous aurez une vue fantastique sur le célèbre Tower Bridge. Nous pourrions même avoir la chance de le voir s'ouvrir.

We were lucky to have Galina as our private tour guide today. We are a grandma, my adult daughter and my teenaged grandkids. My concerns were not knowing if three hours was too long for a tour and if the kids would be bored. Rest assured, if you’re thinking of booking this experience, the time flies and all of us were thoroughly engaged every minute. Galina clearly loves history and weaves in exciting stories about the Tower of London and its many occupants. She answered lots of questions from all of us and was engaging with the kids. This is an enormous venue (we were surprised by how vast it is) and Galina walked us through it patiently. This tour is expensive and it is worth every cent. This was a fun and fascinating experience. Marina was a wonderful guide. She is very knowledgeable about the history of the tower and the monarchy. She really did a great job of steering us around the crowds. We learned so much, and the 3 hours flew by. This was definitely a highlight of our trip.

We were taken back in time at the Tower of London. With very descriptive narrative we were transported to a time when the tower was a lived in castle to the current day. And the Crown Jewels are breathtaking.
