My fiance and I booked a private tour of The City of David and Jerusalem Old City from Tel Aviv. We were picked up promptly at the designated pick up location with a group tour for transport to The City of David where we linked up with our private tour guide Daniel. We sat down with Daniel for a few minutes and we discussed the plan for the day to make sure everyone was on the same sheet of music, as we had several sites we wanted to see. When booking our tour we requested an English speaking tour guide as neither my fiance or I speak Hebrew. Daniel speaks very good English and at no point dod we ever have any issues trying to understand him or vice versa. Our tour started with the City of David and the tunnel system under the city. We spent a couple hours touring the archeological sites and then into the tunnels which eventually put us at the base of the Western wall. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Daniel is a wealth of knowledge. The tunnels were great but I would not recommend if tight spaces are not your thing. We continued our tour up and into the Jerusalem Old City where our 1st stop was the Western wall. From there we entered the city and took a break for some lunch and to rest for a bit. We continued our tour after eating visiting some of the shops and then on to see some of the more historical sites of the old city. Once again Daniel did not disappoint with his knowledge of all the sites. We concluded our day in Jerusalem at one of the larger outdoor markets where we were able to buy some fresh fruits and try some of the local cuisine. It was a long day, we walked close to 12 miles but we wanted to see a lot. For being major tourist sites the crowds were almost non existent. We were told that was because of the current conflict. At no time did we feel like we were at risk and would absolutely have zero reservations about going back. If you ever thought about going to the Old City of Jerusalem, do it, you won't be disappointed. If you don't like huge crowds now is the time to go! Ask for Daniel, he will not disappoint.

NO doubt that private tour provides the time frame and itinerary for the traveler to see a vast amount of locations.Indeed you travelled when things were very quiet((as a result of the times). Great tour guide, Avi. Extremely knowledgeable! We visited on sabbath, so it was empty, highly recommended even though some were closed.

Tomir is a wonderful guide, super friendly and with a lot of passion! We got some super interesting insights into the history of Israel as well as Jerusalem. Even though it was a lot of information, Tomir managed to structure everything very well so it was easy to follow. I would definitely book this tour again and highly recommend it!

Our tour guide was Beny and I would recommend him 100%. He was very kind, friendly, and made our experience a memorable one. He made sure that we were safe and comfortable during our travels. Beny was very knowledgeable about the history of Israel and taught us a lot about stuff we didn’t know. If you do not know much about the history of Jerusalem, I definitely recommend Beny to be your guide. He took us through the different quarters of Old Jerusalem and explained in detail the history behind it. He also took us to a really good restaurant and we had authentic Israeli food.
Thanks so much for this sincere and detailed feedback and most of all we appreciate your expression of gratitude for the excellent tour guide Beny. He sure deserves your praise for his efforts and enlightening commentary.
We had a fantastic time on our private tour with Avi. My colleagues and I were in Tel aviv on business. We added an extra day to our trip as it was all of our first times in Israel. We opted for a private tour so we could see more faster. Avi came and picked us up at our hotel in Tel Aviv and drove us to Jerusalem. The ride was amazing. He took us the slightly longer way to show us what was happening. He gave excellent explanations of the complicated nature of the city and the disputes over the land. It was eye opening and enlightening. We entered through the Jaffa gate and essentially did a loop around the city. At each point Avi gave us fantastic insight and information into each quarter, the history of the city as a whole, and the amazing sites with in. I won't spoil it for others. I left feeling a much better and deeper understanding of the city and its rich history. The ride home was also very smooth and fun. We discussed everything. Highly enjoyed it and would definitely do another tour.

We i.e. my family (we parents and two daughters 21 and 24 years old) and I had a wonderful and very informative tour of Tel Aviv despite rather modest and very changeable weather conditions. Our guide David has made us with his enormous knowledge and his very personal and friendly manner the day an unforgettable highlight of the Israel trip. Thanks again David!
