En partant à 9h30 du matin à votre hôtel de Shanghai, vous serez accompagné par votre guide privé pour découvrir le magnifique jardin, comme le Humble Administrator's Garden, le Tiger Hill, etc. Faites une promenade en bateau le long du vieux Grand Canal. Vous découvrirez l'histoire du 3e siècle à l'ancienne porte Panmen et ferez une promenade en pousse-pousse le long de la route historique de Pingjiang, si vous le souhaitez.

Vous partirez de votre hôtel de Shanghai dans un véhicule confortable et climatisé jusqu'à la gare de Shanghai pour vivre une merveilleuse expérience en train à grande vitesse vers Suzhou. Détendez-vous pendant le pittoresque sur la route du jardin de l'humble administrateur dans la ville de Suzhou.
En règle générale, vous visiterez le célèbre jardin des humbles administrateurs, un patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Passez votre matinée de détente à vous promener dans l'ancienne maison avec des pavillons délicats, des couloirs, des étangs, des rocailles, des allées et des arbres verts luxuriants. Profitez de la vue pittoresque et écoutez la riche histoire de votre guide professionnel. Assis dans le pavillon à côté de l'étang, vous avez envie de remonter dans l'histoire.
De Humble Administrator's Garden, vous visiterez la route de Pingjiang, qui est une belle vieille rue à côté du canal. Vous prendrez un pousse-pousse privé le long de l'historique Pingjiang Road, où le chauffeur vous emmènera dans les vieilles rues pour voir le mode de vie des gens et du quartier. Faites le plein avec un déjeuner chinois traditionnel sur Pingjiang Road.
Vous vous dirigerez ensuite vers la porte Panmen. Il est prétendu être la plus ancienne porte d'eau et de terre ancienne au monde à des fins de défense contre les armées ennemies. Vous vous promènerez dans le parc voir la porte bien entretenue ainsi que les pagodes.
Depuis Panmen Gate (ou choisissez-en un sur Tiger Hill et d'autres), puis profitez d'une excursion en bateau relaxante sur l'ancien Grand Canal. Les anciens ménages et le vieux mur de la porte de la ville se trouvent le long de la rivière, et vous vous plongerez dans l'atmosphère du mode de vie d'autrefois et apprécierez les charmes de la vieille Chine.
Dirigez-vous ensuite vers la rue Shantang. Passez votre temps de détente assis au bord de la rivière, profitez de la belle vue sur le vieux pont, les maisons traditionnelles. Dégustez des collations locales ou profitez de la musique Pingtan locale si vous le souhaitez. Si vous souhaitez visiter d'autres attractions en plus de l'exemple d'itinéraire, n'hésitez pas à discuter avec votre guide, quelques options alternatives suggérées pour votre référence ci-dessous: Tiger Hill, Temple Hanshan, Maître du jardin net, Lingering Garden ou Silk Factory. Une fois la visite terminée, vous reprendrez le train à grande vitesse vers la ville de Shanghai.

I had a fantastic day trip to Suzhou with Kimi. Transportation was easy from start to finish with the hotel pickup, bullet train, and local driving. It was a great change of pace from Shanghai with stops to Panmen Gate, local markets, and a beautiful garden. Lunch was also delicious too. Highly recommended for anyone interested in history and culture outside the modern city.
This was an interesting day but involved a lot of walking. Our guide Kimi was very knowledgeable and an enthusiastic historian. He looked after us very well. We recommend this tour, especially with guide Kimi.

Wow Wow Wow! ABSOLUTELY Incredible!! This is a MUST take trip, and was the highlight of our time in the Shanghai and surrounding area. ❤️ Lin is amazing - from taking so many stunning Instagram photographs of my daughter that *for the first time ever* she said “no more needed”, to telling us history stories throughout the day to keep our experience meaningful and more immersive, to setting the perfect pace with a customized assortment of our favorite to-do sites in Suzhou. This tour exceeded my expectations incredibly. I can not give this experience, and Lin, enough stars. …I was worried about an 8hr tour, especially during the heat of summer…but the efficiently coordinated tour with dedicated a/c transportation between our immersive boat ride in the canal, beautiful strolls, bike-carriage ride, silk factory tour, delicious lunch, tea house experience, and beautiful garden tour was perfect. The pace felt smooth and enjoyable. We didn’t feel tired until just before time to call it a day. I’m still amazed at how much we were able to experience of Suzhou without over extending ourselves. It was so much and so enjoyable! All this was complimented by the accommodations and kindness of Lin. She would often grab a bag for us, offer an extra drink or snack - she just showed so much genuine consideration. When I mentioned to her I didn’t want to buy anything at the silk factory (great tour and beauty items there!) she even helped shield the entire interaction in such a way that we felt completely comfortable and never pressured. 🌟 This is truly a MUST do trip, and I give Lin my highest recommendation as your guide.
For some reason I was expecting a group tour like I've had in the past, your and your best friend plus 30 strangers on a bus, one tour guide with a microphone, that sort of thing. I did not realize that for this great price you could get a private tour with your very own tour guide just for our twosome! I also didn't realize it would be so complete, with cars at each interval for just the 3 of us to connect us to the next stop, and lunch would be whatever we wanted to order at a wonderful restaurant--it was nearly a banquet. All this was wonderful but the particularly great part of it was our guide Lin. She kept to English for us (my bestie is bilingual but I don't have a word of Chinese) and not only gave us facts about our tour but steered us toward great shopping opportunities, made sure we were comfortable at every step (it was broiling hot), made great recommendations at our restaurant, and was so incredibly kind and welcoming and conversational, it was like we'd made an instant friend. She was so splendid a person to get to know that I would absolutely ask for her again on any and every tour for which she was available. If you are looking for something one-on-one and to eat great food, get this tour, and if you want a terrific person to be your guide do ask for Lin, she's just amazing!
From Alana (tour coordinator), to the private drivers, to our wonderful tour guide Jane - everyone was so communicative and made sure every part of the trip went smoothly. Travelling with 2 kids, we required alot of patience and stops and they were so accomodating. Next time I’m going on a tour, 5 out 5 going with Viator again!
