Le musée Konyanuma offre la possibilité de voir la Konya du XIIIe siècle en trois dimensions. Il existe des modèles des loges Mevlevi de Turquie et d'autres pays. Dans l’autre partie, des événements importants de la vie de Mevlana Celaleddin-Rumi, de son enfance à la mort, sont décrits à l’aide de peintures à l’huile et de petites sculptures de cire.
La tombe de Rumi et son musée Pour les musulmans et les non-musulmans, la raison principale pour venir à Konya est de visiter le musée Mevlâna, l'ancienne loge des derviches tourneurs et abritant le tombeau de Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi qui vivait au XIIIe siècle. Il s'agit du plus grand centre soufi de Turquie et le dôme à cannelures turquoise du bâtiment est l'un des sites les plus distinctifs de la Turquie.
Shams-i Tabrizi était le guide spirituel, l'inspiration et le compagnon de Mevlâna Celaleddin Rumî. La tombe de Shams-i Tabrizi est l’un des lieux les plus importants à visiter.
C'est la mosquée où Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi et quelques autres soufis importants comme Muhiddin-i Ibni Arabi priaient généralement. La mosquée Alaeddin est l'une des plus anciennes mosquées de Turquie. Elle a été construite par les sultans seldjoukides de Rhum entre 11 h 16 et 1220. La mosquée Alaeddin présente des caractéristiques architecturales intéressantes, telles que des colonnes de différentes tailles et d'époques antérieures. Le palais de Seljuk a été construit sous le règne du sultan Kılıçarslan II (1156-1192)
Sadreddun Konevi qui a vécu au 13ème siècle était un grand érudit et une personne respectée et bien connue pour les Seljuks anatoliens. Il était le beau-fils de Muhyiddin-i Arabi. Il y avait une étroite amitié avec Mevlana et Mevlana a demandé à Sadreddin-i Konevi de faire sa prière funèbre.
Dans le district de Meram à Konya, vous verrez un pont historique, une mosquée de l’époque Seljuk et, près de la mosquée, le tombeau de Tavusbaba. Le soufi (tavusbaba) qui était un fan de Mevlana celaleddin-i Rumi est venu d'Inde pour le voir à Konya. Il était occupé à jouer de la musique, jouant particulièrement bien du nouvel instrument (flûte à anche). Il est également noté que Rumi et ses disciples venaient souvent à lui pour écouter et ressentir l'amour divin.
La tombe d'Atesbaz-ı Veli Ateşbaz-ı Veli était le cuisinier de Mevlana celaleddin-i Rumi. Il représente l'une des autorités les plus importantes de l'ordre de Mevlevi.

After a week and a half in Turkey and my best friend leaving on the same day I was scheduled to leave for Konya, I wanted to go home. Home being the United States. I even checked to see if I could change my flight hoping it would be a $200 fee but apparently with the ticket I purchased I couldn’t make changes and I would have to buy a one way ticket costing over $900USD. Well I decided to continue with my journey and headed to Konya via Turkish Airlines. The flight was wonderful. I booked a private tour since it was just me and I wanted to have the flexibility to staying longer in one place if I wanted to or skipping things if I felt it wasn’t important to me. The driver was on time. He was a little quiet but then he said we were going to pick up the tour guide. When we did he introduced himself. After sometime we were dropped off to the first location. It wasn’t somewhere I was familiar with but it was interesting and I learned a lot. The main reason for going to Konya was for Rumi so my anticipation was overtaken but I decided to slow down and take in everything the guide had to say. His name is Hayri. What a wonderful person! His explanation was detailed and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. He’s patient and I felt like he was a friend I knew for a while because the comfort level was there. I mentioned to Hayri that I did not visit the grand market in Istanbul because it seemed very commercialized. He took me to a REAL market. I was so extremely happy. I purchased henna since I dye my hair with henna I get from Amazon, then coffee, rolling pin, Turkish coffee cup and Turkish tea cups, I even almost bought a sets of gold but I tilt them let me think about it and I will come back. I well I was talking forever ib the market that I had to be reminded I needed to head to Rumi’s tomb since I had to catch a flight back ans had to be at the airport for 2 ha ha. I was so happy I did not buy the gold. It was approximately $3000 USD IMPULSE buy. Rumi’s mausoleum was amazing. It’s an experience, one that you cannot explain. It’s like going to the Taj Mahal. It’s something you cannot explain except you have to go to understand the spiritual feeling. It’s calm and breath taking. Hayri made sure and explained everything before going inside since we had to be quiet. That I appreciated very much. It helped when I went in and understood who Rumi’s blood family were. Even while there Hayri quietly whispered information to me so I understood everything. I asked him if he could give me 1/2 so I could stay inside and I will cut my lunch or another tour. He said not a problem. Many people were sitting on the floor. After taking my pictures without the flash, I sat there and took in that I was at the resting place of this great man!! Words I have been reading for years. Words cannot describe how happy I was. After I came out; which was 5 minute before my scheduled time to neet Hayri, we had lunch and then said goodbyes. I wished him the very best and I hope to keep in touch with him. At the end of the day Hayri wasn’t just a tour guide but I felt he was a new friend. If I ever visit Konya, I will definitely meet with him. He’s excellent at what he does, he’s kind and patient and since it’s a private tour, he works with you to make minor changes to the tour. I encourage anyone to book this wonderful tour with Hayri. Don’t forget this tour includes pick up and drop off to and from the airport. Huge plus!!!!

Visited Kunya for the first time with my family. I had the best experience. Our tour guide Hayri was the best. He speaks fluent English. Very knowledgeable, very friendly. He explained each and everything during the tour. The lunch was delicious!! Our tour van was very comfortable and clean. We took lots of pictures. Magical! One word to describe the tour is Magical. The tour was refreshing and soulful. My tour guide Hayri was very informative. The car that travelled me around was also very comfortable.
