This was the highlight of our visit to Matera. Francesco was great: very knowledgeable, personable, and fluent in English (as our Italian is basic). Matera is quite hilly so this was very beneficial. He went above and beyond to help me connect with a merchant after one of my souvenir purchases broke. Highly recommend.
Really fun way to get a good overview of Matera. Guides were great! Kids thought it was super cute and it was the perfect way for my dad to see a lot without needing to climb up and down the town.

Best experience during our entire trip in Italy! Antonio was incredible with his historical knowledge with an added touch of personal experience. His stories of his own family, the visits to the cave homes and church, and topping it off with a personal touch by offering to get us a table at an incredible restaurant with an incredible view overlooking the Sassi di Matera at sunset. Literally the best experience! 10/10 recommend! Thank you for an unforgettable night.
