Parmi les 10 nouveaux miracles architecturaux chinois évalués par Business Week, le magazine financier américain le plus vendu au monde, le National Stadium, également connu sous le nom de Bird's Nest et le National Aquatics Center, ou Water Cube, ont pris respectivement les positions de numéro 1 et de numéro 2. Water Cube " est le surnom du Centre national aquatique de Pékin. Ce nom est largement utilisé pour décrire ce bâtiment emblématique situé à Pékin, qui a été le principal site de sports nautiques tels que la natation et la plongée lors des Jeux olympiques de Pékin en 2008.

La rue Yandaixie est une rue commerçante réputée spécialisée dans la vente de pochettes de tabac, de calligraphie et de peintures et d'articles en jade sous la dynastie Qing (1616 - 1911). C'est la plus ancienne rue d'affaires de Pékin avec une histoire d'environ 800 ans. Où vous pourrez profiter du shopping souvenirs traditionnels.
Au bout de la rue Yandaixie se trouve le célèbre lac Houhai, où se trouvent des centaines de bars autour des lacs. Flâner à Houhai Lake Bar zone pour découvrir la vie nocturne de la population locale.
Passez par le célèbre parc Jingshan, le dernier empereur de la dynastie Ming s'y est suicidé.
Devant le parc Jingshan se trouve le palais de l'empereur, la Cité Interdite, vieux de 600 ans. Vous verrez le mur illuminé de la ville et la tour d'angle.
Ensuite, vous atteindrez la plus grande place du centre-ville du monde, la place Tiananmen. Étonnant par son ampleur - la place Tiananmen est considérée comme le centre politique de la Chine. C'est l'un des bâtiments phares des nouveaux "Seize Spots Scéniques de Pékin", situé sur le côté ouest de la place Tiananmen au centre de Pékin. Il ressemble à un œuf flottant sur l'eau, et incroyable quand les lumières s'allument.

A must do in Beijing. Our tour guide Bruce was fantastic and gave an in depth history of the city. He helped us navigate thru best parts of the city in a short amount of time. Something difficult to accomplish on our own. Great job by Bruce - highly recommend.

Doing this tour wasn’t only very educational but it was so much fun. Rita, our tour guide had such a wealth of knowledge in Beijing’s history. She was also very patient with us as we enjoyed browsing/shopping at Qianmen Street. We also got to taste our first zhajiangmian noodles at Fang Zhuan Chang. I totally recommend this tour to have an overview of Beijing as well as enjoying it at night and especially seeing how the local folks unwind at Houhai Lake.
