Reposez-vous au bord du lac Sevan, perle de ce pays montagneux et l'un des plus grands lacs d'eau douce d'altitude d'Eurasie. Vous visiterez également Sevanavank, un complexe monastique sur la péninsule de Sevan. Actuellement un séminaire religieux fonctionne ici, qui n'est pas facilement accessible au public, la péninsule peut être nommée le point même d'où toute la beauté du lac Sevan est vue. Vous verrez ensuite Dilijan, autrement appelé «Suisse arménienne» pour ses fantastiques forêts naturelles. La ville fait partie du parc national de Dilijan. Le prochain arrêt est Haghartsin, un monastère du 10ème siècle qui a été récemment rénové grâce à la donation du cheikh Dr Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, le souverain de Sharjah, qui a été impressionné par le monastère lors de sa visite. Goshavank est la dernière étape entourée de territoires verts. Profitez de superbes vues!

Le lac Sevan, la fascination et la perle de l’Arménie montagneuse, l’un des plus grands lacs d’eau douce au monde. Il est environ 1900 m d'altitude. Le lac est d'origine volcanique et est entouré de montagnes de 3000 m et plus. Le magnifique paysage et l'eau cristalline servent de bonnes conditions pour un repos excellent.
Goshavank a été fondée par le célèbre scientifique médiéval, le fabuliste Mkhitar Gosh. Le complexe se compose de plusieurs bâtiments religieux et laïques. Le khachkar incomparable mis en place devant la basilique à une nef a été créé par l'habile maître Poghos en 1291.Goshavank était l'un des centres religieux et culturels les plus célèbres de l'Arménie médiévale.
Le monastère Haghartsin situé dans les bois de la région de Tavush représente un exemple indescriptible de mélange de nature et d'architecture. Il a été fondé aux 10 et 11ème siècles, bien que de nouveaux bâtiments aient été ajoutés aux 12 et 13ème siècles. Il se compose maintenant de St. Grigor, St. Astvatsatsin (Sainte Mère de Dieu), des églises St. Stepanos et de quelques autres bâtiments. Le réfectoire, en raison de sa composition architecturale habile, présente un grand intérêt. L'énorme chêne, presque à l'ère du monastère, complète la scène.
Une scène merveilleuse s'ouvre dans la partie nord-ouest du lac Sevan, où la péninsule domine la surface transparente du lac. Le monastère de Sevanavank a été construit sur la péninsule en 874 par l'ordre de la princesse Mariam, fille du roi Ashot Bagratuni. La silhouette des églises sur le fond du lac turquoise et du ciel bleu jette une impression inexplicable sur les visiteurs.

What a wonderful day with Jasmine and Ashot! I booked this tour for my husband and I and it was incredible. Highly recommend Ashot, as he is a reliable, calm driver. He was so kind and his vehicle was incredibly clean. We also highly recommend Jasmine. She is so smart, funny and knows how to perfectly schedule your day for a great time. She patiently and knowledgeably explained every detail and even gave us time to spend in these holy areas for ourselves. I wish I could have more and more weeks to spend and enjoy with them.

Private tour for 7 days : we decided on the program and agency fine tuned it. Wonderful time. Khachatur is an experienced easy going very knowledgeable and helpful guide. Alexander was a very safe and thoughtfull driver. Everyrhing was well organized. Time goes by great with many interesting explanations, water on demand, comfortable and clean vehicles. We highly recommend for an unforgettable experience in Armenia.

Our day began with a visit to Sevanavank Monastery, followed by an unforgettable swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Sevan. It was such a unique and special experience, and we felt incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy it. After a delicious lakeside lunch, we continued our journey to Haghartsin and Goshavank Monasteries, both of which were truly beautiful and inspiring. Throughout the trip, our driver made us feel completely safe and comfortable on the road. We also enjoyed a lovely stop in Dilijan, where we experienced its charming historic atmosphere and stunning natural scenery. Although the day started sunny, the weather turned rainy later on, especially at the higher elevations. We were pleasantly surprised that our driver provided separate umbrellas for both my husband and me—a thoughtful touch that showed great attention to detail. Throughout the journey, complimentary cold bottled water was always available, making the trip even more comfortable. The entire tour became one of the most memorable days of our trip to Armenia. A heartfelt thank you to Hyur Service and especially to our driver, Baron Arakil. He did far more than drive us from place to place—he enriched the journey with fascinating stories about Armenian history, culture, music, and even films. His knowledge, kindness, and passion made this experience truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

We did a two-day tour of northern Armenia with Hyur Tours and it was a amazing experience. Our driver, Hrach, handled the long mountain roads with no drama and was easy company throughout. The car's air-conditioning was a real plus in the heat, and he also brought umbrellas along, which we were grateful for when heavy rain rolled in around Dilijan and the monastery there. Tamara, our guide, clearly knew the region: she gave good background at Lake Sevan and the monasteries and was always open to questions rather than sticking to a script. Very knowledgeable. The general pace stayed relaxed and they were happy to linger wherever we wanted. Nothing over-the-top, just well organized and genuinely enjoyable. Recommended if you want to see this part of the country with people who know it well.
