Le Ghanta Ghar à Jodhpur est une magnifique tour de l'horloge au centre de la ville, construite par le maharaja Sardar Singh il y a environ 200 ans. Connue comme la tour de l'horloge du Rajasthan, c'est un point de repère populaire qui marque le début du vieux Jodhpur. La tour offre une superbe vue panoramique sur la ville depuis le sommet. Toorji's Step Well - a été construit dans les années 1740 par la reine du Maharaja Abhaya Singh. Le temple a été construit en 1847 par Maharaja Vijay Singhji à la mémoire de son fils trompé Sher Singh, décédé très jeune. Le temple est situé à l'intérieur de Jaipur mais est accessible par tous les moyens. Le sanctuaire est fait de grès de Chittor et de marbre de Makrana. Le temple appartient aux sectes hindoues Rama Nandi Vaishnava. La merveilleuse architecture du bâtiment est quelque chose à garder à l'esprit. Un temple de Shiva se trouve également à 2 étages sous la surface mais peut être vu de la surface. Un sentier est également là pour visiter le temple.
Les lacs Ranisar et Padamsar sont deux lacs contigus de la ville de Jodhpur construits il y a plus de 500 ans. Ils sont situés à l'arrière du Fort Mehrangarh, près du Fateh Pol. Ces lacs pittoresques ont été créés pour conserver l'eau, car Jodhpur se situe dans une région désertique où l'eau est rare. La tranquillité de ces lacs adjacents est brillamment complétée par le contraste saisissant du majestueux Fort Mehrangarh, ce qui en fait un spectacle à voir. Deepak was one of the best guides I ever had!!! You can tell he loves his job... and that's what makes his tour truly unique! He could answer all the questions that came to mind and he showed us super many places that we would never have found on our own! It was my girlfriend's birthday the day after the tour and he got her evening prayer a cake and organized a party! We couldn't believe it at first we're nice Deepak! Please, if you read this comment you don't need to look any further, you can book this tour and you will have the best guide in Jodhpur!

We had an absolutely incredible day! The tour was wonderful, and it ended up being just my partner and me, which made the whole experience feel much more personal. We laughed a lot with our guide, and he gave us great explanations while also letting us take as much time as we wanted at each attraction. He even took lots of photos for us along the way, which we really appreciated. There are also a few special surprises during the tour that I won’t spoil here — it’s better if you discover them yourselves! But trust me, you won’t regret it. There are some truly special moments that make the experience even more memorable. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, so you can ask him anything and he’ll be happy to help or explain. The best part was that when we mentioned it was my birthday, he made the wonderful gesture of taking us to a rooftop of a hotel (which I also highly recommend visiting, even just for the views) so we could enjoy a birthday cake. They even sang Happy Birthday to me! It turned into such a special moment, and I felt truly welcomed. We had such a great time, and our guide was very, very funny, which made the whole day even better. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience — I would definitely recommend this tour!

Deepak gave us a really enjoyable and informative tour around the Old Town and took us to a few special spots and blue alleys, as well as viewpoints at the fort for sunset we would not have found otherwise! He has been doing these tours for over 20 years and really knows a lot about the history of the city, highly recommend to take a tour with him when you are in Jodhpur.

We had a wonderful tour with Prabhat, who was so engaging and knowledgeable about Jodhpur. He grew up in the old town and still lives there, sharing fascinating stories about the history and culture of the region that really brought it to life. Plus, the samosas were scrumptious! We had such a wonderful tour with Prabhat as our guide! He was so professional, yet passionate and fun about the blue city! He shared lots of information about the region ranging from local cuisine, religion, history and arts. He gave us plenty of time to explore and take pictures where we wanted. He knew great photo spots to take us to and see lots of murals. What we loved most was that there was zero pressure to shop or buy anything on this tour. It was refreshing! Prabhat was the perfect guide! Pickup and communication were perfectly coordinated.

We had a fantastic tour of Jodhpur - learning about the Blue City and its history was very interesting. Mr. Singh was an excellent guide who showed us around with great knowledge and warmth, even taking us to sample some delicious street food along the way. We would highly recommend this experience!

We had a fantastic experience with Mr Singh. He was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly informative throughout the tour. He gave us a wonderful tour of Jodhpur’s Blue City, where we explored the beautiful streets and tried some amazing street food. We learned so much about Jodhpur, its history, and the local culture. We would highly recommend Mr Singh and his tour to anyone visiting Jodhpur 🙂

We previously reviewed this tour and gave it a very low score. Our original review is provided as a screenshot attached. The operator has since contacted us and explained that he was not available for for our tour so sent a a replacement in his his stead. Given previous reviews by others, I think the normal tour operator is very good, but our experience was quite negative. The operator has offered us a full refund due to our experience.
