It started a little shaky with our pick bring 30min late which meant a fast drive to station and a dash for 5.45 train when we got to train it didn’t leave until 6.10 am anyway to relax!! Train journey each way was 4.40min do this makes a long day! We would strongly advise on 1st class on the train. We were met at the station by our driver Amsingh who was very good all day, very clean car and drove very safely. Out your guide Kamran joined us and the tour started. The tour was very enjoyable and KAM filled us with some fascinating facts as we went! He took some superb photos of us at each venue which came out very well! Jaipur is incredible and we wished we had programmed more time to soak in the city!! We arrived back at the station with over an hour to spare, mainly because we didn’t want to buy at the obligatory shop they take you too, we really wish tour firms wouldn’t do this!! We sorted our self easily onto the train arriving back into Delhi at 1045pm, a long day…. But our driver was waiting for us and wasn’t long before we were back in our hotel. Overall a fantastic day but very tiring!!

All parts of this tour went smoothly including pickup/return from hotel in New Delhi station (Farhaan), pickup/return from Jaipur railway station (Bhim Singh), and guided visit of the monuments (Kamran). We got a really detailed tour of the Ambar and City Palaces. Since we had just visited Agra, we had a lot of questions about the connection between the history of Agra and Jaipur. Kamran answered our questions in addition to relating the stories of the palaces and the kings. Lunch is not included in this tour but Kamran took us to a good restaurant in time to buy lunch. Highly recommended.

We booked our Delhi-Juipur day-tour by train with Keeper Landwey Tours via aviator.com. This tour was AMAZING. From the very first email, to getting dropped off back at the hotel at the end of the day, everything was seamless. We interacted with 3 great people during the tour; tour guide Sanjay, Jaipur driver Kamal and our Delhi driver. All three were great, hospitable and very professional! Definitely recommend this tour to anyone, especially first time travelers to India who want to explore via train. Keeper Landwey Tours let us relax and enjoy our trip!

Rarely do the planets align and send you a 5 star tour guide with a Masters in Ancient Indian History! How could you ask for anyone more perfect? Jacky is a very intelligent and knowledgeable guide who is a gentleman in every sense of the word. He was respectful, helpful and considerate all day. He continuously asked me for confirmation about what I wanted to do and how I was feeling. His knowledge made everywhere we visit come alive and increase my limited knowledge of the history of the area. The observatory, city palace, lake palac and Fort Palace are complexand large sites and without his detailed guidance I wouldnt have got so much from the brief time in Jaipur. I was worried that I would be whisked from place to place with little information but Jacky’s itinerary made it feels like I’d spent hours in each place. Having lunch with him in the Green Parrot was delightful, real Indian food better than the Marriot buffet the day before. He also gave me a lot of information about Jaipur, it’s history, culture and economy. Being from the UK he also brought in relevant shared moments in history. He’s a great companion and photographer too if you are travelling on your own. All the sites are close to each other so easily do able in a day. The Great Wall of Jaipur is a smaller cousin of the Great Wall of China and still very impressive. The Fort site on the ridge of the hill is huge. Unfortunately I didn’t find out until the evening before when I rang the company to find out when pick up would be that the train from Dehli to Jaipur isn’t operating at the moment. So I was offered the car tour instead. You leave at 5.am and takes 4 hours with a brief stop for breakfast, not included, and took 6 hrs to return , with a 30 mins stop for food, not, included, because of all the evening traffic. So take that into consideration when planning the rest of the evening and the next day.

Booked a tour through Viator to Jaipur, it was by far the most amazing experience in India, the driver was very cautious and they also sent a escort to take pictures and help me with the locals when shopping, but the best was Singh the tour guide he was extremely knowledgeable of the places and history, he is the best tour guide I have ever had, we Ali went for lunch and it was a great buffet The only thing I was not very comfortable is when they take you to some shops where they have a commitment with and they try to sell you everything m, it felt at time like a timeshare preeentation But overall was amazing!
