Le plus ancien musée de Jaipur, connu pour son architecture indo-saracéenne. À l’intérieur, il expose de rares artefacts du Rajasthan, des armes, des textiles et même une momie égyptienne, offrant une excellente introduction à l’art et au patrimoine culturel de la ville.
Cette structure en grès rose de cinq étages a été construite pour que les dames royales puissent observer les festivals de rue sans être vues. ITs 953 petites fenêtres laissent entrer la fraîcheur, ce qui en fait une merveille architecturale.
Un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO avec des instruments de pierre géants construits pour des observations astronomiques au 18ème siècle. Découvrez comment le Maharaja Jai Singh II a suivi les corps célestes avec une précision remarquable.
Le City Palace de Jaipur est un point de repère clé et un symbole durable du patrimoine royal du Rajasthan. Construit par le Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, il se dresse au cœur de la vieille ville et est encore en partie utilisé par la famille royale. Connu pour son mélange d'architecture moghole et rajput, le complexe dispose de grandes cours, de salles élégantes et de portes ornées. Ses musées présentent des costumes royaux, des armes et des œuvres d’art, offrant un aperçu de l’histoire et de la culture royales de Jaipur.
Un complexe paisible de cénotaphes en marbre où les dirigeants de Jaipur ont été incinérés. Les sculptures ornées et le cadre tranquille en font IT un joyau caché hors des sentiers touristiques.
Un magnifique palais flottant au milieu du lac Man Sagar. Bien que l’entrée ne soit pas autorisée, IT est un arrêt fantastique pour les photos, surtout avec les collines d’Aravalli en arrière-plan.
Un ancien puits de marche avec des escaliers symétriques, utilisé pour la collecte d'eau et les rassemblements communautaires. IT sa géométrie précise en fait un favori pour les photographes et les amateurs d'architecture.
Explorez Jaleb Chowk, la cour principale où les soldats du roi défilaient et se rassemblaient. Entrez par les grandes portes, Suraj Pol et Chand Pol, chacune avec sa propre signification historique, vous conduisant plus à l'intérieur. Continuez jusqu'à Ganesh Pol, une porte magnifiquement décorée qui s'ouvre sur les palais privés, mettant en valeur une architecture exquise et un riche patrimoine, ainsi que d'autres monuments historiques qui reflètent la grandeur et la culture de l'époque.

Firoz provided us with an excellent service over 12 days, taking us from Jaipur to Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur. Going above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and relaxing time throughout. The car was always kept clean with cold bottled water provided whenever needed. We travelled through Rajasthan in very high temperatures and Firoz was quick to adapt, allowing us to stay cool in the car, driving sensibly and safely as well as providing regular stops for food and water. Firoz khan provided us with superb service throughout our trip. He took us to Jaipur -> Jodhpur -> Jaisalmer -> Jodhpur -> Udaipur. He always had wonderful recommendations for restaurants, places to visit and hotels and these always turned out to be top notch. He also went out of his way to take us to hidden gems in the countryside in between the main cities. Firoz khan also ensured maximum comfort throughout our trip - purchasing us water (which he kept in an ice box!) and sun guards when we hit a 47 degrees heat wave! He is friendly, discreet and conscientious. I wholeheartedly recommend Firoz Khan to anyone needing a driver in Rajasthan!

Jaipur is truly a mesmerizing city and if you want to get to know this gem we highly recommend that you hire Firoz Khan for a private tour by tuk tuk. He knows the city by heart, is very experienced and knows exactly where to go and which site to visit at what time. He accommodated all our wishes, did not surprise us with unwanted shopping stops and was extremely attentive. His driving skills are exceptional and you can trust him fully. If you are looking for a private city tour, you will not regret choosing him. (In fact, we just hired him for an 8 day tour of Rajasthan by car.)
