The trail is nice. Very beautiful. Very Alaska. Amazing dogs. The grandkids had a great time.
Amazing afternoon! We had two sleds/teams for three of us. They provided all the gear we needed to be comfortable and took us on a great ride. We learned a ton about mushing: the dogs, the lifestyle, the history, and the changes. Wouldn’t change a thing about the experience. Highly recommend!
The dogs are so beautiful. Our musher Jeremy was personable and answered all our questions and we had many, about the lifestyle and the dogs.
Beautiful track, good dogs. Good tour operator.
By far the best Dog Sled Experience you can do in the Fairbanks Area. This amazing Co-op of mushers set our trip on the perfect trajectory. We were welcomed with smiles and enthusiasm, even thou we were not the first clients of the day. Temps were below zero outside but the clothing provided by the Co-op kept us warm and in high spirits. Its amazing how much personality each dog has, given you only know them a relatively short time. Each Musher had years of experience and was extremely personable. The drive to the location can feel a bit out there, but it gives you a chance to see some wildlife and feel what outside "city" life in Alaska starts to resemble. There are a lot of options for dog sled tours in Fairbanks, but this easily met and exceeded all expectations.
Awesome experience. A true highlight of our trip. Loved everything about it - guide, dogs, trail. Worth every penny.
Chase and Jeremy were amazing! You will be amazed. This was an amazing experience and they guys were so knowledgeable and so nice, and the dogs were amazing. I can’t give this place enough stars.
This was a fantastic family adventure experience. We loved the dogs, and the trail through the snow. The guides Chase and Jeremy were amazing, so knowledgeable, professional and fun. They shared a lot of interesting information on dog mushing. They really do love their dogs.
There are many dog sledding tours to choose from. I chose Last Frontier Mushing Co-op in particular because they rescue sled dogs and give them a loving environment to live in for the rest of their lives. I have always wanted to go dog sledding and even though it was in the -30’s, it was such an enjoyable experience that I will never forget! We were kept warm. The dogs were wonderful and the musher was great and so experienced! She won the Yukon Quest in 2014!! She made the whole tour so interesting with all of her knowledge and stories. Thank you!
We genuinely admire your passion for rescue dogs! Thrilled our -30° adventure and champion dogs created unforgettable memories! 🐾
Amanda and Chase were so friendly and greeted us at the car. They took the time to chat while we were getting ready and made a genuine connection. Amanda was our guide and made sure we got to meet and love on each dog on the team. You can tell that she loves her dogs and what she does! The sled itself was so comfortable, we were snuggled in and didn’t feel the cold. I would recommend this experience to anyone who loves animals and nature, it was such a unique way to experience Alaska.
