Le Hawa Mahal, monument le plus emblématique de Jaipur, a été construit par Sawai Pratap Singh comme un palais des vents. Il a été conçu pour que la famille royale puisse observer la vie quotidienne de la ville sans être vue. Le palais présente de multiples niveaux d'arcs courbes surmontés de battants de fées ornés et de grillages complexes en treillis "jali".
Le City Palace de Jaipur est une merveille architecturale étonnante qui mélange les styles Rajput, Moghol et Européen. Construit au XVIIIe siècle, il servait de résidence royale aux maharajas de Jaipur. Le complexe du palais comprend de belles cours, des jardins et des musées, mettant en valeur des artefacts royaux et la riche histoire de la ville.
Le Jantar Mantar de Jaipur est un remarquable ensemble de dix-neuf instruments astronomiques architecturaux construits par le roi Rajput Sawai Jai Singh. Abritant le plus grand cadran solaire en pierre du monde, il est reconnu comme site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Amer, située à seulement 11 km de Jaipur, est réputée pour son riche patrimoine culturel et son histoire. Cette ville pittoresque abrite le superbe palais et fort de Rajpur, avec son architecture magnifique et ses cours animées. Le puits de marche historique, connu pour ses escaliers symétriques pittoresques, est une superbe structure du XVIe siècle située à Amer. Ce remarquable captage d'eau de pluie se trouve à l'ombre du fort, mettant en valeur l'ingéniosité architecturale de son époque. Niché dans le village d'Amber, il offre un aperçu serein de la riche histoire de la région.

Found the guide online. Highly recommend. The light show was extremely informative and the guide explained everything. As part of the tour we visited both a blue pottery and block printing workshops. Neither of these put pressure on us to buy and the guide only works with companies that want to show what Jaipur has to offer… not just push selling.

If you have a place you want to go, you can feel free to ask for advice, so there is no problem if you don't have any particular plans. We had an amazing time seeing all the must-see sights in Jaipur. Our guide and driver were both really friendly and knowledgeable. The lunch was incredible and in a beautiful restuarant - we had no worries about safety. We would highly recommend! We would recommend doing this at the beginning of your time in Jaipur, as the guide had lots of great ideas for more to do if we had more time. A highlight was the Amer fort and Panna Meena Kund. Our guide was also fab at taking lots of photos for us.

I recently visited Jaipur on 18-19 October 2025 and booked a private tour with this company and was extremely pleased with the communication, professionalism and historical knowledge of the team and especially the history buff guide, Akram Khan. He led me on a full immersion of the wonderful sites of Jaipur, efficiently covering all that could be taken in within a day. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to book a half day tour with him the following day to cover some additional sites that were off the beaten path and entirely worth the extra time I requested. I also expressed interest in a bit of shopping and he worked that into the schedule and I came back with some wonderful textiles for my family. I can only give a five star rating but I would like to give more to Akram and the driver Nizam. Thank you so much for showing me the extraordinary "pink city" and I look forward to returning to India (with more time) and seeing the desert and sites I did not have a chance to see on this occasion.
