Lors de cette excursion de 10 heures, vous pourrez visiter le fort couleur miel de Jaisalmer qui émerge dans le désert sec et plat et Salim Singh-Ki Haveli & Patwon-Ki Haveli - de très belles demeures avec des sculptures en pierre et des treillis d’une complexité à couper le souffle. Visitez également des havelis (demeures) qui ont été construites par les riches marchands Jain. Offrez-vous un déjeuner-buffet, et terminez la journée à dos de chameau sur les dunes de sable pittoresques.

Tôt le matin, à 9 heures, vous visiterez le fort historique bien préservé de Jaisalmer et explorerez le dédale de rues étroites de ce musée en plein air d'une ville aux havelis richement décorés en grès jaune. Les havelis ont été construits par de riches marchands à une époque où la ville constituait un arrêt essentiel sur les routes des caravanes du Moyen-Orient. Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli et Patwon-Ki-Haveli sont deux de ces demeures complexes avec des sculptures en pierre et des treillis. Après cette visite, dirigez-vous vers le lac Gadisar, puis faites une pause pour déjeuner dans un excellent restaurant local. Dans la soirée, juste avant le coucher du soleil, vous vous rendrez à Sam Sand Dunes - 45 km (45 km) pour admirer le total du désert sablonneux. Sur cette glorieuse étendue de dunes de sable, vous apprécierez une promenade à dos de chameau et pourrez prendre votre photo préférée avec un chameau seul sur une piste du désert avec le soleil couchant en toile de fond. Après une journée mémorable, vous retournerez à votre hôtel à Jaisalmer.

Rachana Heritage Hotel was excellent and their Safron Restaurant was excellent in food variety, quality and service. It was the best we have had on our trip. Jaisalmer is very laid back compared to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. I'm so glad we visited. Each place is completely different. Remember guides and drivers are not representing you when they take you to shops and restaurants. Shopkeepers tell you everything is fixed price which is never true. Your guide will keep quiet because he will get a 40 to 50 % cut! So bargain hard. I do feel violated due to falling for this. It's difficult to believe anything you are told. The desert resort called Exotic Luxury Camp had excellent food, good inclusive entertainment and nice rooms with electric, hot water and very comfortable beds. The camel ride to the sand dunes was fun, but 2 are on each camel.

Great tour of Jaisalmer & desert camp with guide Bhupendra Singh & driver Lilu Singh. We really enjoyed our tour of the fort in town and the camel ride to the dunes in the desert. The accommodations and food at the Exotic Desert Camp were excellent.

Had a great time in Jaisalmer thanks to Nikita Holiday Agra. We had a great tour of the fort (with lots of history knowledge being shared) and a good buffet lunch. After some downtime, we rode out into the sand dunes for a camel ride. Highly suggest doing this tour, especially if you're only here a short time!

<p>We had a fabulous tour with Mr Ghanshyam. He was very knowledgeable and had interesting local insights to the city and made the tour very entertaining. His sense of humor and warmth added that extra bit to make the experience exceptional. Going with a local, we were introduced to the little secrets of the city - fantastic makhani, a fabulous silver shop tucked away in a non-descript alley with some of the finest handwork and exquisite pieces of jewellery, a fantastic antique store which was a museum by itself, textiles from a lovely shop inside a massive haveli which we would never have found out walking down the lane .... fabulous walks down narrow lanes opening into squares with no prior indications somewhat like one would find in Europe in cities like Venice, a walk through the narrow lanes inside the fort giving a great view into life in the fort. He also took us to the studio of the last remaining family that does miniature paintings. The gentleman has held over 9 international exhibitions of his works in Australia etc. - worth viewing his works. Thanks to Viator, we got a very intimate view into Jaisalmer and saw places which only locals could help you discover. Very good tour and totally recommended - do ask for Mr. Ghanshyam!</p>
