Even if you show up at the posted meeting spot, use Viator's messaging app to try to reach the tour guide, have multiple Viator customer service representatives call the tour operator, and have a fellow cruise passenger attest to your presence at the port at the right time, Viator will not believe that you were there. They will believe the tour operator who no showed. $470 USD gone for nothing! No one told us to take pictures of ourselves in front of the port signs. However later our refund was declined because the tour operator claimed they were there. Viator asked us to send pictures- hours after - when the cruise was getting ready to leave the port! All I had were selfies of me with the sea in the background. They were taken at the port but no signage because none of the customer service reps said they would be needed. My family stayed waiting for nothing. Eventually we left Villefranche Sur Mer and took the train ourselves to various spots. It was not the day we paid for or expected. Next time we'll skip Viator and go with a company that keeps their promises to customers.

David is great and patient with kids! Kids love Monte Carlo and Monaco and Eze. Perfume factory is surprisingly fun and memorable.

The driver David was nice and friendly, however when we talked about the personalization of the tour when he picked us up, he said Nice is not on their normal itinerary and he insisted on taking us to Eze even with two people with canes and insisting on the perfumery which he said is part of the tour. However looking back at this itinerary versus their normal shared itinerary, this tour should have gone to Nice and not the perfumery. Wasted well over an hour at that sales pitch.

The driver was great. He had a great knowledge of the area. I would highly recommend Alex. He was friendly and helpful to getting what we wanted from this trip.

Ruslan picked us up at the port and we started our amazing day. He was able to fit so much into the private day tour for us. He was super knowledgeable, ultra friendly and made excellent recommendations in Eze, Monaco and Nice. We've traveled to 86 countries and I cannot say enough about how well this tour went and our amazing guide Ruslan. He recommended the parfum factory that was amazing, and really unexpected, highly enjoyable part of the tour. After Eze we went to Monaco which was beautiful. We made it in time for the changing of the guard which was great. He parked and picked us up promptly and then drove over by the casino where after talking to us, realized we loved cars. We were then able to set up driving around Monaco where the F1 track is, driving vintage cars--- big highlight! We then visited the casino, old town and onto Nice, where he made recommendations for a late lunch. Then back to the port. The whole time we had great conversations, and really enjoyed his company. Great guide, tour and would highly recommend this to anyone. Truly fantastic!

The tour guide sent me a message the night before giving clear instructions where he picked us up etc. We didn’t realise on the day of the excursion we had to wait for a tender from the ship was given to customers who had booked the tour operators own tour. I was able to contact Viator and explained we may be delayed. This was no problem and in Actual fact we were early. The ports car park is only small so it was easy to find our guide who had my name clearly displayed on the window of our mini bus. Alex was lovely and introduces himself and asked for our names. We had a very comfortable air conditioned mini bus. He gave us information and interesting facts about our journey and the places we visited. At times pulling over to take photographs of the scenery etc. We saw views of Nice and he provided visual aids like maps of the area. Our fist stop off was Montecarlo square with its famous casino where we were given some free time. Next a short drive to Monaco old town and given interesting facts and an opportunity to look at Princes Palace and a spot of lunch. We also viewed the F One track. We also visited Èze-Village and a soap factory. The whole trip was extremely enjoyable and we would recommend highly

We had an exceptional day on this tour! Got off the cruise ship early and had breakfast across the street at a French cafe. Then got picked up by our guide, Our tour guide was prompt and knowledgeable and was willing to cater our day around the things we most wanted to see. The perfume factory tour was fun and the city of Yves is just as quaint and whimsical as described. Passports stamped in Monaco and a delicious lunch lunch then a stop in the extravagant Monte Carlo. Then we drove through Nice and saw some beautiful aerial views of the area. Ended the day with limoncello spritz's before getting back on the ship. Beautiful place that we filled with wonderful memories. Highly recommend!

This was a great private tour! Our driver, Rouslin, was informative and friendly. He let us spend the time we wanted at each stop. It was a fabulous day!

Alex was an amazing guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. He had fantastic recommendations for scenic stops and even pointed us to a great spot for coffee that we probably would have missed on our own. His local knowledge and easygoing personality really made the tour special. We would absolutely book another tour with Alex and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a memorable experience!
