Ainsi, nous ne pouvons pas laisser passer l'occasion de visiter la Maison de la Ligue de Prizren, un monument important qui a marqué le premier effort d'indépendance et la mise en place d'un parlement et d'un gouvernement. De plus, nous pouvons nous familiariser avec la culture de la région en visitant le Musée Ethnographique installé dans la Maison de la Ligue.
En partant de Tirana, nous nous dirigeons vers Prizren, un titre estimé de la capitale culturelle du Kosovo. Située le long de la rivière Bistrica, à l'ombre de l'intemporel château de Prizren, cette ville a été un phare de l'histoire et de la politique albanaises du XIXe siècle.
Embarquez pour un voyage d'exploration authentique et visitez le célèbre "Pont de pierre de l'amour" et le bazar traditionnel de Prizren. Située autour de la majestueuse mosquée Sinan Pasha, c'est la partie la plus captivante et historiquement enrichie de Prizren. Promenez-vous dans les rues anciennes de la vieille ville et émerveillez-vous dans le bazar traditionnel coloré, où de charmants objets artisanaux et des parfumeries exquises bordent chaque coin de rue.
Avant un déjeuner traditionnel dans le vieux bazar de Prizren, nous pouvons monter le chemin sur la colline jusqu'à la forteresse de Prizren où nous pouvons profiter d'une belle vue sur Prizren à vol d'oiseau.

Picked up on time. Guide gave Kosovo history talk en route. They managed everything through border control quickly. Prizren is a wonderful town. Very idyllic and lots of cobbled streets. Guide took us around all sites of interest recommended eating places for our lunch. Pristina has lots of places of interest, but still a lot of building works to rebuild their city. Don't forget your passport!
Prizren is a lovely ancient town and regarded as the historic centre of Kosovo. We remember the wars in the former Yugoslavia, and it was fascinating to visit a country which had suffered so much but now appears to be doing so well. Our guide for the day, Skerdi, was very informative about this complex history. Just as importantly, we had a relaxed and enjoyable day, with free time to explore, eat and drink. The drive of about 2.5 hours from Tirana goes through the most spectacular countryside and mountains and is pretty much worth the trip in itself.

Our tour guide Giulio was fabulous. For a young tour guide we were amazed at his in depth knowledge of albanian and balkan history. The visit to the League of Prizen museum was highly enjoyable. We had an hour wirh Giulio then 2 hours of free time to explore beautiful Prizren and have a meal. Giulio handed a situation with two Indian tourists really professionally and empathetically, when they didn't have the right visas and refused entry to Kosovo (he did speak to them twice before to ensure they had right visas). We have done lots of Viator trips around Europe, but this trip and the tour guide was the best we had.
We had a fantastic day in Prizren with our guide, Ramadan. He went above and beyond to answer all our questions. We appreciated the variety of interesting sights he shared with us, including a 16th-century Turkish hammam, a mosque, a historical Catholic church, a quaint shopping area, and a museum of local history — capped by a delicious traditional lunch. Ramadan was full of knowledge and had a great sense of humor. He was engaging and great fun, and we had a wonderful day trip!
Excellent tour and they even contacted us ahead of time to add an additional city at no extra charge! In Prizren we were given a choice to hike a steep hill to the castle or shop/eat in the large bazaar below. We had a lovely 2 hours of free time. The guide was friendly & quite knowledgeable. Long day but totally worth it. My only suggestion is to use a larger van. My wife is petite but was so cramped in the back, she couldn't even cross her legs. All in all, a very lovely and memorable experience for us!
A nice tour to visit two historic cities. What made it really enjoyable was the guide, Xhuljano. He is one of the better guides I have had on all my tours around the world. He is very personable, very knowledgeable about the locations and has fantastic history knowledge. He is a younger guy who is very impressive as well as very good English language skills..
