Really great value, beautiful beach day, great food. Loved it! Seeing multiple islands with lots of time to walk around was spectacular. Very easy bus ride from the Old Town if you do not have a pickup.
I wouldn’t actually know as we never went. The day before we were due to go I was informed that we would not be picked up from our hotel as was stated on the booking. When I questioned it I was told that I was wrong and that I had confirmed pick up address, which I didn’t. To add insult to injury the person messaging had a very curt manner which I didn’t appreciate. Cut a long story short, I’m out of pocket for over £100 as a refund was out of the question. Make sure if booking with these people you double check pick up even if it’s stated as they leave it late to message therefore losing refund rights.
The boat company were all lovely providing a comfortable trip with plenty of cold drinks and a great lunch of fresh fish Lopud island was the best and to be honest I would just go there for the day but marinero were great company for the trip
Highly recommended; the boat was not crowded and it was August. Lopud Island was the best. The crew was very attentive and it was a very pleasant trip. The food was acceptable, with drinks all day and cookies in the afternoon.
Amazing wee trip! We debated getting the ferry, although, this trip seems to work out better value to see all three islands. The Dubrovnik ferry takes you to an island for €10.50 return roughly, whereas this tour took us to all three for around £30. The guide was a lovely women, extremely friendly ! We didn’t get the lunch but I’d recommend you get this as you would’ve been able to get seemingly unlimited drinks on board throughout the trip. If you book without the lunch you will get some fruit drinks throughout the journey which was still lovely.
Perfect, someone comes to take care of you at the dock before departure. The vegetarian lunch is hearty. Long enough stop to do a few little things and swim. I highly recommend. The crew is great. And a small detail, you have 2 shooters and unlimited soft drinks.
We had a brilliant day on the Three Islands boat trip from start to finish. We were collected promptly from our hotel and taken to the marina to board the boat where we were greeted warmly and offered a soft drink. Once on board, the soft drinks kept coming. The boat was full but there was still plenty of space. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for the guide because we were at the front and so couldn't hear her properly but we double-checked the timings as we got off at Lopud. Lunch was excellent. We were asked as we boarded what we would like (chicken, fish or grilled vegetables) and we opted for fish. It was delicious, a huge portion of hake served with potatoes and tomato, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat with another family and were given two bottles of very nice wine which went down very well, plus a couple of shots of Grappe (I think that's what it was called!). The islands were all different in their ways, and very enjoyable to visit. Swimming in the sea was gorgeous, the water is so clear but I would definitely recommend swimshoes, the Croatian coast is very rocky. We were then taken back to our hotel afterwards. A fabulous day, and excellent value for money - just over €60 per person for all that was brilliant! We'd definitely recommend this trip with Marinera, which we booked through TripAdvisor. Special thanks to Suzana in the admin department, I had to email her a couple of times and each time her response was immediate, informative and friendly - thankyou!
It was a nice boat trip to these islands. Lopud island has a very nice sandy beach but it is far to walk so there are golf carts that drive to the beach to the other side of the island for 3 euros/person one way. You need to get back by the same means of transport because the island is car-free and there are long distances of terrain. The island feels very peaceful and relaxing. You have about 3, 5 hours on Lopud island so it feels a bit tight. The other islands you stay 1 hour. I wish I didn't have to go to the other islands so I could enjoy Lopud more. You don't have much time on Sipan and Kolocep. After you have been to Lopud you could eat a good lunch either chicken, fish or vegetarian with potatoes on the boat with optional drinks such as beer, wine, soft drinks etc. The staff were nice and it was interesting to go boating and see the views.
The tour was very well executed, the staff friendly, and the lunch was very good. The problem is that there is not a lot to do on the islands. The first island had a few shops and restaurants, and Sunj beach was beautiful (we took the golf cart on a very hot day, appreciated) although there were uncharacteristically large waves. The second island provided some nice walks, and we explored some old churches. The tour could have ended here though; the third island had very few shops or restaurants (and frankly we didn't need more of these at this point). We'd recommend a two-stop trip, eliminating the third island. Instead, the tour operators might host a wine-tasting or olive-oil sampling from products made on the first two islands, either on board or with a local winery or olive-oil shop. That would be a nicer end to the afternoon.
From start to finish the trip was amazing, picked up on time from outside hotel, the boat was really nice, the crew were very helpful and friendly and the islands were amazing, worth every penny. We will definitely go again, highly recommend.
