Temple Jyomyoji: C'est un temple où vous pourrez déguster un délicieux matcha tout en regardant le magnifique jardin japonais. Découvrez la culture japonaise et passez un moment relaxant et élégant.
Temple Hokokuji: Un temple célèbre avec environ 2000 forêts de bambous. C'est un spot photo très populaire lorsqu'il est possible de prendre des photos extrêmement belles, alors jetez un œil à la superbe vue avec votre appareil photo.
Rue Komachi: Une rue bordée de restaurants et de boutiques de souvenirs qui vont de la gare de Kamakura à Tsuruoka Hachimangu. De nombreux aliments locaux ne peuvent être consommés qu'à Kamakura et certains ne peuvent pas être achetés. Pourquoi ne vous arrêtez-vous pas au magasin que vous aimez?
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu: un sanctuaire avec une histoire de plus de 1000 ans. Ce sanctuaire est connu comme un lieu incontournable que vous devriez visiter. Ce sanctuaire était adoré par Genji qui régnait sur le Japon à l'époque de Kamakura. Voici l'un des endroits les plus importants de Kamakura car il a été dit que la divinité gardienne des guerriers samouraïs était localisée.
Meigetsu-in: Une pièce avec une grande fenêtre ronde est un temple populaire. Vous pouvez voir le beau jardin au-dessus de la fenêtre ronde et ressentir l'harmonie avec la nature et le silence. C'est aussi un temple célèbre pour l'hortensia, et de nombreuses personnes viennent de tout le pays pour voir comment l'hortensia fleurit.
Kotoku-in: C'est un temple où se trouve la célèbre statue géante de Bouddha, "Kamakura Daibutsu". La hauteur est supérieure à 11m! Vous pouvez même entrer dans la statue. Profitez de l'expérience de la statue bouddhiste qui peut être appréciée de l'extérieur comme de l'intérieur!
Temple Hasedera: Un temple également appelé "Temple des Fleurs", où vous pourrez profiter des plantes des quatre saisons. Il y a de nombreux endroits à voir dans le très grand terrain, et vous pouvez faire une promenade en escaladant la montagne ou en entrant dans la grotte. We had Akira as our tour guide in Kamakura, and he was excellent. His knowledge was vast and very impressive — he was able to answer all of our questions and made special accommodations for our unique travel situation. The tour was thorough, and by the end we felt like we truly got to know Kamakura. We’re so grateful for the time we had and cannot recommend Akira highly enough.
There are many historical temples and beautiful beaches in the Kamakura/Fujizawa/Honan area, and various kinds of rail transit travel between urban and rural areas. Walking through the streets and alleys is full of elegant buildings, which you love.
Yoshi was a fantastic guide. He had a printed itinerary ready upon arrival. Oriented us to everything we would be doing in the day. Was flexible when we asked to change something. He took great care us anticipating our needs. He even carried a bag for our trash and brought napkins to dry our hands! He showed us how to pray at temple. Shared his coins. Made a lunch reservation at a Japanese restaurant and dined with us! Shared Japanese Samurai history and answered the many questions we had about Japanese history, society, and language. Very kind, considerate, organized, knowledgeable man. Strongly recommend Yoshi for a Kamakura tour.
The tour was basically a hop around the main temple attractions and a short walk through the shopping area. The sights were great and our tour guide was knowledgeable but very quiet and mostly responded to questions rather than offer a flow of information which made it a bit frustrating at times.
Excellent tour guide, extremely knowledgeable. Excellent English skills. A full day of site seeing with many fun facts, useful background of what we were observing and the history of Japan. Highly recommend guide!!

Enjoyed the tour with experienced and knowledgeable tour Guid Rumi, learned the history of Temples and Shrines. Visited four of them out of 5 because it was tiresome for us walking a lot. The favorite one was Meigetsuin Temple of clear Moon. Great Buddha was also impressive.

Miyuki was amazing and so patient with us. She spoke and understood English very well and she had no problems rearranging things to suit our lack of fitness level and inability to handle many stairs. Not easy to do in Kamakura 😁

Komochi street Love the great Buddha statue Yoshi is our tour guide and he is very nice and patient waiting for us sonce our train was delayed and he has good knowledge of the areas
