Prague juive avec un historien local

Description

We had such a wonderful time on the tour! Very educational and fun!
Jiri is a phenomenal tour guide. Very knowledgeable and considerate. Took the time to explain and shared his local food spots. You can also tell he cares deeply about the stories he’s telling. Highly recommend.
Absolutely wonderful tour with Jiri - who was smart, funny & extremely knowledgeable! We had a lovely few hours on a small tour of 4, it was chilled, laid back with lovely heartwarming stories at the end! Highly recommended & knowledge worth every penny. Keep up your amazing work Jiri x
So glad we booked this tour. Jiri showed us so many hidden things that we would have walked by without even a glance. You will get WWII history and Jewish culture both past and present. We 100% plan to return to Prague and we will be looking for another tour with Jiri
We had an unforgettable experience in Prague With our tour guide Jiri, whose knowledge and storytelling brought history vividly to life. Jiri expertly led us Through World War II, explaining complex events with clarity and respect. Walking Around the City, we discovered hidden corners and powerful stories we would have missed on our own. From moments Under the Bridge to reflections In the Cathedral, every stop felt meaningful. Visiting Gestapo Headquarters was especially moving, as the guide carefully explained traumatizing events regarding those who sacrificed during the Resistance and their lasting impact. We paused near Statues, learned legacies of heroes, took in the castles and explored symbolism throughout the tour. Even small transitions, like conversations on the train, were filled with insight and context. This tour was emotional, educational, and exceptionally well guided. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to truly understand Prague’s history.
Our tour was wonderful! We went in the evening and it was already dark out. The lights and streets were beautiful. We met Jiri in a very central east to find space. He was very knowledgeable and told us some great stories and pointed out many interesting things we did not notice or know about. There were only three of us on the tour so there was much opportunity for conversation and questions. I would highly recommend Jiri.
Jiri provided a great tour of the Jewish quarter. Not only did he point out a few off-the-beaten-path spots, but he also shared so much rich history from interviews that he has conducted. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.
Our tour with Jiri was fantastic!! We felt that we got a truly special experience with him, as he has such a rich background in Jewish history. He not only brings great energy, but also personal experiences that make this tour more unique than others offered in Prague. Definitely book!
Jiri is a unique guide for a number of reasons. He is intelligent, knowledgeable and most important, the relevant passion of a young Czech local who our Group chose for these unique values. As the son of a Jewish Czech Father and with my son who Jiri reminds me of, his tours of Prague and Terezin from both the Cold War aspect of which his Father was part of as a Student leader to the Holocaust survivors that he has interviewed globally, to eating, travelling and communicating with Jiri during our trip and in spite of being with a Group of c. 20 other wonderful travellers, felt very personal and no questions any of us had, Jiri left none unanswered. The greatest compliment I can give Jiri is that he is the only guide amongst many we have met through Tripadvisor that I would personally host in my own home and when my family return to Czechia we would have no hesitation to request his time again for his unique values as a guide to further our knowledge through Jiri's local knowledge. In conclusion apart from being special in his extensive local knowledge, Jiri is a lovely uplifting gentleman to have the pleasure of his company. And of course Jiri is well worth the small amount he charges for his abundant local knowledge.
A fantastic 3 hour group tour of the well-known synagogues and museums and the not so well-known ‘hidden’ memorials and art works..Jiří is a knowledgeable and accomplished historian and a very personable guide who combines the right amount of historical fact interwoven with personal and interesting anecdotes.
