Découvrez la forteresse de Vysehrad - à seulement 10 minutes du centre-ville, ce paisible site perché regorge d'histoire, de légendes et de vues imprenables.
Depuis la fin du XIXe / début du XXe siècle, Vysehrad a été réajusté à la zone de parc verdoyant d'aujourd'hui où les habitants aiment venir se détendre et trouver la paix.
Visitez le cimetière national tchèque, dernier lieu de repos de géants culturels comme Dvořák, Smetana et Mucha, ou la victime héroïque du régime communiste Milada Horakova.
Nous longeons les murs baroques de la fortification pour profiter d'une vue panoramique sur la rivière Vltava, le château de Prague et d'autres quartiers de Prague.
Entrez dans la majestueuse basilique néogothique de Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul, y compris l'entrée dans son extraordinaire intérieur Art nouveau, orné de fresques inspirées d'Alfons Mucha.

- S'il vous plaît noter - il y a un ensemble solide d'escaliers pour monter à Vysehrad, le reste est principalement la marche à surface plate et descendre des escaliers. Nous marchons autour de 3,5 km, le niveau d'activité pour cette expérience est modéré.
- Veuillez noter - cette visite se termine à l'arrêt de tramway "Vyton", très facile de revenir au point de rendez-vous.

Visiting the Vyserhad castle was an amazing experience , was more of a hidden gem with a lot of history. It was a fresh gem compared to the other places with crowded tourists. The guide Josef was extremely knowledgeable and passionate, he went beyond and answered many of our curious questions around Prague and history of Prague. He was there to pick us up at the assigned location and dropped us back to our desired location as well, despite us braving one of the hottest afternoon together :) Very genuine and extremely friendly! Would recommend him 10/10 for anyone taking guided tours.
George was great. Loved the pacing, the information, the history, and just the overall experience was excellent. My wife and I loved it, and we can’t recommend this Vyšehrad tour with George enough. Thanks again!

The Vyšehrad Fortress is great experience if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the old town. Johanna the guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, personable and gave great insight into the history of the fortress. Highly recommended if you are looking for additional things do in Prague outside of the main attractions.
Fascinating tour to a lesser known site. The history is remarkable, and David (with his history background) conveyed a wealth of knowledge. Stunning views from the overlook. If you want to do something interesting but off the beaten path, look no further.

This was a fantastic way to see a different part of Prague, away from the crowds. Our guide, Johana, made learning about the history interesting; and was more than happy to help us understand modern life in Prague, too. Riding the tram to a nearby area and walking up the steps could be challenging for some, but we looked on it as part of the adventure.
