The tour was amazing. It was far better than I had expected. I liked the size of the group with only 4 participants, which made everything easy and enjoyable. We arrived at the castle and the cave relatively early, so the place was not so busy and crowded. The time we spent on each place was just fine. The castle was extraordinary and mind blowing, the cave was marvelous and full of surprises, and the city Piran was culturally rich and heavenly beautiful! Here I would like to express my full heartedly appreciation and gratitude to our fantastic guide Gala. He is an amazingly knowledgeable person in history and culture, and he did a wonderful job in introducing us to the Slovenian history and culture. He is also very attentive and helpful. The entire trip turned out to be inspiring, enriching and utmost pleasant because of him. A truly unforgettable experience!
We expected a large bus but were pleasantly surprised to see an eight-seater van. Our guide Kolia, a young native, kind, polite, very knowledgeable taught us a lot about Slovenian history and nature all mixed w humor, making it memorable and fun! The Postojna Cave experience is fantastic and a sight to behold, the Predjama Castle, a unique medieval castle like none other. We then went to Piran, a very pretty beach town with gourmet food. Kolia gave us a walking guided tour with plenty of free time to experience Piean on our own. An amazing experience which my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!
5/5 experience! Kolja was our tour guide and he was so sweet and so so knowledgeable! Even for things not part of the tour! If you get him you'll have an Amazing time! The total group was 8 people and it was a great group too. And since we weren't renting a car we got to see these sights! The castle, the caves, and Piran was amazing. We had enough time for everything. For the caves I recommend bringing a sweater it is quite cold! And for Piran bring swimming stuff to enjoy the warm Adriatic sea! Which I unfortunately did not being

Great trip but a little rushed in Piran. The guide is very informative and it’s well worth the price
Mario the guide was great. But in general, very bad experience!! Cannot recommend. The AC from the car did not work (although the details specified an AC car would be provided), which on a summer at 34 degrees is simply not acceptable. The logistics in general were bad. The Agency combined people with different itineraries, so the waiting times were terrible. They picked us up at 8am and some of the tourists actually begun their attractions at 11am. Very bad experience in general.
The tour in general seemed very good to me, and I enjoyed the experience a lot. However, I consider it important to mention some aspects that could be improved so that participants are better prepared. In the morning, once the tour begins, there is practically no opportunity to have breakfast, so it would be useful for this to be communicated in advance. Additionally, we were not informed that inside the cave the temperature would be quite low, so many people did not bring appropriate clothing for the cold. On the other hand, upon arriving in Piran, we encountered excellent weather and perfect conditions for swimming in the sea. However, it was not until that moment that we were informed that it was possible to go into the water. As a result, none of the participants were prepared with swimsuits or the necessary items to enjoy that activity. Aside from these details, the tour was very pleasant, and the experience was worth it.
These to me were some of the must places one should visit when in Slovenia and they were great, but I must say, the best of this tour was the guide. Vasco (his Portuguese name 😊) was amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable, great music selection, always willing to share more interesting facts about Slovenia (I will not forget the bees, the tractors, the bears, the churches 😁) and he definitely made this a memorable tour. You will be extremely lucky if he is your guide!!
Really good experience in all locations of the tour with ease of getting to each place and instructions to make things nice and simple, made especially better by our lovely guide Barbara! We received lots of great stories and conversation from Barbara which made it feel casual in the best way possible. Piran was a fun addition to the tour, but make sure to take your swimming costume otherwise you'll be jealous of seeing everyone in the town jumping in the beautiful water! Only thing that could potentially be improved is more time at the castle so it didn't feel as rushed to finish
We had a fantastic day visiting 3 sites in South western Slovenia. I won’t go in to too much detail about the sites but the day itself was really well planned and a really long day didn’t feel like one at all. Our guide Boščan (hope spelling is right!) was fantastic, he had a real passion for his country and gave us lots of great info along the way. Would highly recommend.
