Gabriella and Antonio were a great guide and captain. A nice way to spend a couple of hours on the Douro River admiring the beautiful Porto! If you want a chill boat ride with not a ton of talking this was perfect!

Great tour, with Miguel and Tatiana as our guides. They were very gracious and made us specialty drinks! Both Tatiana and Miguel were informative about the sites along the way. It was much more intimate and family oriented than the large tourist boat tours. Thanks for a great two hour sail!

We had a wonderful cruise with Antonio and Beatrice. We were upgraded to the yacht so felt like VIP’s. Everything was excellent and we had a brilliant time.
Our tour Guides where Gabriela and Miguel were wonderful. They were very passionate about creating a great experience while we were on our tour. They made sure that our questions where well answered and that we were comfortable (ie gave us blankets when it got a little windy). I really appreciate that they spoke to us person to person instead of feeling like they were reading off a script. I don’t drink and Miguel accommodated me by makeing a delisious mocktail. We had a great morning, big thank you to them. Miguel also went above and beyond by air-dropping me places to go throughout the city. I really appreciate that he cared about our overall experience in the city, and not just the part that was “his job”.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family of four, including our two teenage sons (15 and 17), had an absolutely unforgettable private sailing experience with Captain Douro in Porto! From the moment we stepped aboard the beautiful luxury sailing yacht, Miguel and Beatriz made us feel incredibly welcome. Their hospitality, professionalism, and genuine passion for what they do made this so much more than just a boat trip—it became one of the highlights of our holiday. Everything was taken care of to perfection. We never wanted for anything, and the delicious drinks, especially the refreshing Porto Tónicos, made the experience even more enjoyable. One of the best parts was that we not only cruised along the stunning Douro River but also sailed out onto the open Atlantic Ocean. Experiencing both the river and the sea on the same trip was truly special and offered breathtaking views. Miguel and Beatriz were exceptional hosts—friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and they created a relaxed atmosphere that everyone, including our teenage boys, thoroughly enjoyed.
