Écoutez du fado live dans la seule boutique de Porto qui fabrique encore des guitares Portugaises à la main. Cette performance a lieu à la Casa da Guitarra, la seule boutique de la ville qui fabrique et expose encore des instruments à cordes Portugais artisanaux, comme la guitare Portugaise. Pendant une heure, écoutez du fado traditionnel interprété en direct par des artistes locaux, avec la guitare Portugaise jouée par le luthier et fondateur lui-même. Le lieu est petit et acoustiquement intime, conçu pour vous faire vivre l'émotion du fado de près. Profitez de la musique avec un verre de vin de Porto. Plus qu’un simple concert, c’est une immersion culturelle : vous pourrez explorer l’exposition d’instruments traditionnels et découvrir pourquoi le fado est reconnu comme patrimoine culturel immatériel de l’humanité par l’UNESCO depuis 2011. Le lieu est situé dans le centre historique, à deux pas de la cathédrale, avec des séances en début de soirée et de nuit. Les places sont limitées; réservez à l'avance pour sécuriser la vôtre.

Intimate stage/venu located by the Ponte Luis I-bridge. The show lasted for about an hour, with a short break when they served a shot of port wine. The to singers performed with almost a heartbreaking nerve. Great show!

The guitarists - particularly the one who played Portuguese guitar- and the bass player were fantastic - a great rapport between them too! One of the fado singers was particularly good with a very rich voice and great presence. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

This was one of my favorite experiences in Portugal! The performances were so beautiful and I was happy the audience wasn’t all recording everything on their phones. It was nice to just experience the music.

A convenient location for a commercial type fado show. There are other options that are better and slightly more economical.
Dear Michael, Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you found our fado to be commercial, given that our concert presents fado in its purest and most traditional form. As we explained at the entrance, the concert unfolds spontaneously, with the fado singer choosing what to sing on the spot, depending on how she feels at that moment. Furthermore, Casa da Guitarra was the first venue in Porto to offer fado concerts in the form of a show, and its long-standing reputation has indeed helped it establish itself on one of the busiest streets in the city centre.
