L'un des monuments les plus emblématiques de la ville, datant de 1881 et toujours en service aujourd'hui.
C'est le quartier historique de Porto, réputé pour son architecture médiévale et ses charmantes ruelles étroites. On y trouve des sites emblématiques tels que l'église São Francisco et l'emblématique pont Dom Luís I. Ce quartier témoigne du riche patrimoine maritime de Porto, ce qui en fait une destination captivante pour les passionnés d'histoire.
C de Gaia est un charmant quartier en bord de mer situé de l'autre côté du Douro, face à Porto, célèbre pour ses caves à vin de Porto. Il offre une vue imprenable sur les toits de Porto, ce qui en fait une halte rapide mais pittoresque pour les passants. Idéal pour une petite dégustation de vins ou une séance photo avec vue panoramique !
C'est un bâtiment historique situé au bord du Douro. Autrefois utilisé pour les douanes, il sert aujourd'hui d'espace culturel et événementiel. Les visiteurs peuvent admirer son architecture néoclassique tout en profitant d'expositions et d'événements qui mettent en valeur le patrimoine de Porto. Une petite halte ici vous permettra de découvrir le passé de la ville !
C'est un magnifique belvédère du XIXe siècle situé dans de superbes jardins à Porto. Réputé pour son impressionnante structure en verre, il offre une vue panoramique sur le Douro et la ville. Le parc environnant est idéal pour une balade tranquille ; c'est donc l'endroit parfait pour se détendre et profiter de la nature tout en admirant le panorama !
C'est un pont en arc emblématique de Porto, qui relie la ville à Vila Nova de Gaia. Achevé en 1963, il se distingue par son architecture remarquable et offre une vue imprenable sur le fleuve Douro et les paysages environnants. C'est un axe de circulation majeur et un endroit idéal pour prendre des photos, surtout au coucher du soleil !

Great time cruising, with awesome hosts, telling us some interesting information, while keeping the port flowing! Our group made it a lively start to the evening! Shout out to the boat table too, providing flexibility, sturdiness and sexy wooden vibes….
Really enjoyed this river trip, only a small boat with a handful of people. Crew were very knowledgable and kept us entertained. With lovely samples of wine and port.
A fantastic way to experience Porto at sunset. The river views were beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the wine tasting made the whole trip feel even more special. One detail we kept coming back to was the small table on board, where we placed our wine. It was simple, but surprisingly useful, and somehow became part of the experience. As the boat moved along the river and the sun set over Porto, we could rest our glasses on the table, enjoy the view, and fully relax. The guide was welcoming and knowledgeable, the wine was excellent, and the scenery was unforgettable. And, of course, the table on the board deserves a special mention—it kept our wine safe, gave us somewhere to gather around, and became an unexpectedly memorable part of the tour. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Porto, especially around sunset. Come for the views and the wine, but do not underestimate the table.
We had so much fun with our guides, Maria and Enrique! The wine was amazing, and the views were even better. We went with about 6 other people at 6:30 pm and got a beautiful viewing of the sunset. The boat was comfortable and well kept, especially the table in the middle! Overall we loved our experience and would absolutely go again!
Delicious wines and lovely staff. We had a lovely boat of international guests. The nibbles were nice, the wine was superb and the setting just stunning. Well worth it to see the sights of Porto from the river. Only thing that would have made it perfect is a toilet: we were dying for the loo after all that wine by the last 30 mins!
Very nice. Easy breezy. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Guide and Skipper were super friendly. We had a great time with the small group of 10. Met a few new friends from around the world. Sights are gorgeous from the river.

A fabulous day out on the river with Maria & Emma, two extremely knowledgeable & friendly girls whose main priority was their passengers. They provided plenty of port & snacks throughout the trip as well as interesting points of history & interest. We would recommend this tour.
The 7 bridges cruise was an excellent experience: from pre-boarding service, to boarding, transfer and boarding services. We enjoy a wonderful tour, with attentive guides and with plenty of available wine (green, rose and red), plus. water and a mini-tabua of cold. I recommend this 2h tour along the Douro. Pay attention to the arrival time at Mari a do Freixo, due to transportation to the meeting point. We did the Tour with the Atalaia Group, through the GetYourGuide App. There are several options along the Cais da Ribeira. Worth researching
We’ve never been to Porto before and on the spur of the moment booked a 5 day city break staying at The Holiday Inn, Gaia. Hotel was south of the river and about a 25 minute walk down into the city much longer on the way back at it was all uphill. However, Ubers are cheap and there is a bus stop just outside the Hotel so options. Porto old town is beautiful for strolling, shopping and a leisurely drink, brunch or lunch and our River trip was lovely. Food seemed to be relatively basic offerings reasonably priced but higher end restaurants quite expensive but extensive throughout the city. On reflection, 5 nights for us was one too many as we cleared our bucket list of things to do the day before we came home. As with most city breaks we feel we’ve ‘done’ Porto now so probably won’t go back at our age and will explore other European cities.
