We love hop on hop off tours. What a great way to see a city. Great time, easy on/off, on time. Would recommend this tour.
The trolley was very uncomfortable- it jarred our whole bodies! The areas that we saw were interesting and it was a nice overview of Portland.
A great way to get to all the sites we wanted to without the hassle of driving and parking everywhere. The drivers were great and knowledgeable.
Unfortunately we did not make it to Voodoo Donuts because we had some creepy guy get out of his truck in the middle of the street and just watch us so we decided to go back to trolley pick up point.
The tour was okay, I didn't see much hop on hop off tours available for Portland. The tour could have been better with much more information about the history to make it interesting.
Great way to get around and learn about the city. Informative, nice trolley, easy. Glad I did this!!
Thank you for the 5 star review and hopping on with us! We're glad you enjoyed Portland!
We feel you abandoned us. We know there was an accident, but you left us out at the last stop. You told us to walk almost a mile to the next. I wouldn’t suggest elderly people taking this trip because of that reason. You made it seem short, but it was a long hike. The driver was excellent. But you should’ve came and picked us up. I’m sure there was other ways around the accident.
There was a major accident with injuries that closed all the streets to stop 10. No one could enter or leave the area except on foot. We are sorry that this occurred but we were not driving the truck that caused the accident. There were no other ways to access stop 10 until hours later.
You can plan an entire day using this tour! Check schedules of locations and go for it, cheaper than ride shares.
Thank you for the 5-star review and for using our materials!
It’s a good thing we took this early on our trip cause I was not getting a good feel for the city. The directions to FIND the Hop-on Hop-off Pink Trolly, was beyond frustrating! If you’re walking, your GPS does you NO good because it keeps taking you to the Gray Line Bus stops! It’s right by the huge chess game pieces. There are 10 stops and you can hop off and on at any stop you want. But you must start at the beginning. The trolly will be by every 45 minutes, so plan your day accordingly. Interesting history and scenic drive. It also shows you there’s more than homeless people. I was not prepared for how many homeless folks there are.
Hi...did you use our trolley stop finder webpage that shows you the closest stop and upcoming times and then links you directly to your maps software for easy walking directions? You can also board the trolley at any stop and then check in when you get to stop 1. Our website has all the details at www.graylineofportland.com. Thanks for the 5 star review.
We had such a great time with this tour! Richard and Max were so friendly and professional. The places we got to see during are tour are the best specially the free salsa tasting. Highly recommended!
Thanks!
