Nous vous ferons faire un tour de la ville qui abordera certains des antécédents historiques du Saigon moderne et nous plongerons dans certains des modes de vie traditionnels les plus quotidiens des Saigonais. Notre guide vous présentera comment ils cultivent le riz, comment ils attrapent un poisson mais dans la ville de Saigon (c'est une partie invisible de Saigon). Déjeunez dans un restaurant local avec des spécialités locales. Après cela, nous nous dirigerons vers le centre pour découvrir l'histoire et la culture de Saigon avec: • Marché humide local • Le temple de l'empereur de jade • Mairie • Opéra • Bureau de poste central • Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral • Musée de la guerre ou palais de la réunification (palais présidentiel). • Le bâtiment de la CIA à Saigon: Photo de l'hélicoptère Saigon + Notre itinéraire de visite est flexible et modifiable pour vous faire vivre la plupart des expériences locales. + Toutes les visites privées durent environ 9 à 10 heures ou plus, selon votre temps. C’est l’une des zones locales réelles pour les touristes qui souhaitent découvrir la vie locale. Cet endroit est très célèbre auprès des populations locales pour les pique-niques et la pêche le week-end. Vous verrez comment ils cultivent le riz, comment ils attrapent un poisson mais dans la ville de Saigon (c'est une partie invisible de Saigon).
L’hôtel de ville de Hô Chi Minh est fermé au public car c’est un bâtiment officiel du gouvernement du Vietnam. Sa belle architecture coloniale Française et sa teinte crème et jaune ensoleillée en font un lieu de prédilection touristique et un symbole de Saigon, l’un des monuments les plus emblématiques de la ville. Le bâtiment se dresse à une extrémité du boulevard Nguyen Hue sur la rue Le Thanh Ton, à quelques pas de la rue Dong Khoi.
Vous trouverez cette pagode dans le district 1, l'une des plus anciennes pagodes de Saigon, à environ dix minutes en voiture du centre-ville.
Le palais est comme une capsule temporelle figée en 1975. Vous pouvez voir deux des chars d'origine utilisés lors de la capture du palais garés dans le parc. Le Palais de l'Indépendance était la résidence et le lieu de travail du gouverneur français de la Cochinchine. Il possède des jardins luxuriants, des pièces secrètes, des meubles anciens et un bunker de commandement. Il est toujours utilisé pour accueillir des événements importants à Hô Chi Minh, notamment les sommets de l'APEC.
Le marché Ben Thanh, dans le district 1 de Hô Chi Minh-Ville, est un endroit idéal pour acheter de l'artisanat local, des produits de marque, de l'art vietnamien et d'autres souvenirs. Ici, vous trouverez des stands de restauration à l'intérieur du marché où vous pourrez goûter à la cuisine vietnamienne de style colporteur ou simplement vous rafraîchir avec une boisson fraîche lorsque les négociations deviennent trop difficiles. Le marché est grand, il est parfois difficile de s'y retrouver et il vaut certainement mieux l'éviter pendant la partie la plus chaude de la journée, mais il vaut quand même le détour.
À voir absolument à Saigon : Construit à l’origine en hôtel en 1886 par l’architecte Français Gardes, il sert aujourd’hui d’hôtel de ville et est l’un des monuments les plus emblématiques de la ville.
Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Saigon est l'une des architectures les plus uniques de Hô Chi Minh-ville, en regardant de l'extérieur, vous pouvez voir la couleur rouge vif du mur de brique raffiné, qui n'a pas été recouvert de mousse depuis cent ans. Ces briques ont été fabriquées à Guichard Carvin, Marseille St André France et ont été directement importées de France. Il y a 56 plaques de verre colorées sur le mur pour représenter les personnages et les événements de la Sainte Bible. Ces plaques de verre reflètent la lumière et créent une magnifique beauté. Il y a 31 trous d'air sur le mur en forme de fleur, ressemble à un tapis de fleurs. Il y a 25 fenêtres assemblées par des verres multicolores.
Saigon Opera House ou aussi connu sous le nom de Théâtre Municipal Saigon, est situé sur Lam Son Square au début de Le Loi Street, une rue shopping populaire qui va du parc en face du marché Ben Thanh. Debout magnifiquement au cœur de Hô Chi Minh-Ville où il croise de nombreuses routes importantes, le bâtiment est remarquable comme l'un des sites impressionnants de Saigon nuit et jour
Le Musée des vestiges de guerre, également connu sous le nom de Musée des crimes de guerre américains, a jusqu'à présent stocké plus de 20 000 documents, pièces et films, dans lesquels plus de 1 500 documents, artefacts, films ont été appliqués pour introduire dans huit expositions thématiques fréquemment. En 35 ans, le Musée de la guerre de Hô Chi Minh a accueilli plus de 15 millions de visiteurs au pays et à l'étranger.

Along with 7 other fellow cruisers, we did this tour of Saigon with Lee. It was an excellent day. Lee and his driver met us at the port and took us to see many important sights around Saigon, including the eco village, a small walking tour of some of the central city buildings, lunch at a restaurant, the war museum, a buddhist temple and a quick stop at a market for some last minute shopping. Lee was a fantastic guide, with local history and knowledge, and a great sense of humour too. He was in contact with me many times in the lead up to the tour, answering all my questions. We were comfortable in the airconditioned bus, our driver was excellent so we felt very safe in the hectic traffic, and they got us back to the port in plenty of time. Would recommend Lee to anyone considering doing this tour!

We were met at the gate by our wonderful guide Penny and our driver Son. We boarded our car and instantly became knowledgeable that Penny wasn’t just our guide, she was a God sent angel. Penny taught us about life in Vietnam , we learned so much about the people, how they lived and survived. We toured the city of Saigon with an expert in all matters. Son our driver was fantastic how anyone could master the streets of the city is beyond me, the ride was perfect. I developed knee pain while walking at the cathedral, Penny rented a scooter from a local vendor and drove me to the WC. What guide do you know cares so much about her clients to do that. My wife and I fell in love with Penny. We rate Penny and Son’s performance as 5 stars easy. If you are lucky enough to have her as your guide tell Lana and Rick say Aloha.

What a fantastic day doing this Shore Excursion from Phu My Port. Our tour guide was May and she was an absolute delight. Perfect communication about where to meet her outside the port gates where she was waiting with our car and driver. Headed into city which is a good 1 -/2-2hours away but it went quite quick.May first took us Bin Quoi Village to show how locals live and where they spend their down times on weekend and give us an insight into how they grow tic, catch fish etc in a typical village, was really lovely. We then visited the Jade Emperor Temple Central Post office , Notre Damn Cathedral to name a few finishing with a wonderful linch of beef Pho in a local restaurant. May is extremely knowledgeable and very proud of her country and was a delight to be with all day. Our driver Són was a master of getting around the traffic and despite loads of traffic at the end had us back to the port in ample time for our ships departure . I highly recommend May as a guide to see this beautiful place .

Me and my family had a few hours between our our cruise ship so we decided to spend those hours in Ho Chi Minh city from Phu My port. Lee Minh was an excellent guide as he was energetic and had detailed knowledge about the city, history as well as Vietnam in general He showed us around the interesting landmarks in the city as well as taking us to local food restaurants and market, local area.
