Notre visite commence par une vue imprenable sur l'ancienne abbaye de San Vito, qui surplombe la mer. Un lieu riche en histoire et parfait pour les premières photos.
Découvrez Cala Paura, l'une des plus belles plages de Polignano a Mare. Entouré de falaises et de grottes naturelles, c'est l'endroit idéal pour une halte pittoresque, une baignade dans des eaux cristallines et une expérience authentique sur les bateaux des pêcheurs locaux. À quelques pas du centre historique, c'est un lieu incontournable pour tous ceux qui visitent la côte adriatique des Pouilles.
Depuis la mer, nous rendons hommage à Domenico Modugno, le fils le plus célèbre de Polignano a Mare. Sa statue, bras tendus vers l'infini, célèbre "Volare" et accueille les visiteurs avec le même enthousiasme et la même poésie que ceux qui ont fait la grandeur de sa musique.
Le Belvédère de Santo Stefano offre l'une des vues les plus emblématiques de Polignano a Mare : de là, le regard embrasse les falaises, les grottes et l'incontournable Lama. Au cours de la visite, nous nous arrêterons ici pour nous baigner dans les eaux cristallines et le sable doré, découvrant ainsi l'un des endroits les plus photographiés d'Italie. C'est également là que se déroule le célèbre événement "Red Bull Cliff Diving", attendu cette année les 28 et 29 juin !
La Grotta Palazzese est la grotte la plus célèbre de Polignano a Mare, un joyau naturel creusé dans la roche vivante et surplombant la mer. Vue de la mer, elle révèle toute sa majesté, entre reflets turquoise et falaises abruptes. Aujourd'hui, il abrite l'un des restaurants les plus atmosphériques du monde et constitue une destination populaire pour les voyageurs internationaux et les célébrités.
Le Scoglio dell'Eremita émerge solitairement parmi les eaux claires de la côte de Polignano, enveloppé d'une aura de mystère et de légende. Selon la tradition, un ermite en quête de paix et d'isolement y a vécu. Aujourd'hui, c'est une étape fascinante du circuit, idéale pour admirer la vue et prendre des photos pittoresques.
L'excursion se termine par un arrêt à la romantique Grotta degli Innamorati, une petite crique cachée parmi les falaises de Polignano. Enveloppée d'une légende d'amour, cette grotte offre une atmosphère intime et relaxante, parfaite pour un dernier bain dans les eaux cristallines et pour se laisser bercer par la magie de la mer avant de rentrer !

First time on a boat and it was beautiful; I complimented Domenico for the wonderful experience he provided us! He was excellent in his explanations and in integrating everyone, both Italians and foreign tourists; indeed, the explanations were in both Italian and English, and it was truly interesting to hear the stories behind the caves of Polignano. If you want a tour focused on relaxation and fun, you must try it! I will definitely return to them and bring more people. ❤️
It was a great time, I just wish it was more clear if it was private or not. However, we were offered snacks and drinks and the opportunity to learn about the history and even swim for a bit.
I went on the tour with my family. This is NOT a big touristy business; it's just two young local guys with their boat. So they are very attentive, very knowledgeable, great company, but also balancing that with leaving you to enjoy the trip. The boat is a catamaran, so it's stable, suitable for small children and even babies. The boat is very clean and well-maintained. The tour itself was fantastic, too. We went to all the caves, as the guys were telling us stories about swimming there as boys. We stopped for a quick dive and a couple of bottles of prosecco.
Told us the wrong place to park. Listing stated snorkel. There was no snorkeling offered however they did have us have time to jump in water in a place many other boats were anchored.
A relaxing, informative, and memorable experience visiting all prominent caves in the area. Each one has a history and story that our guide shared. We ended with a refreshing dip in the sea along with prosecco and Taralli. I highly recommend. And if you’re staying for a few days, do it early to give you a view of what swim spots or diving spots you’d like to visit.
Was a great afternoon out! Domenico, the guide, is very informative and friendly. The stop for a sea swim and a few aperols was definitely the highlight of the tour!
It was a very lovely trip with interesting information about Polignano and it's caves, also Domenico's communication beforehead was very good. The boat is great, also the views, jumping from the boat into cristal clear water and getting an aperetivo afterwards couldn't be better. The snorklingmasks didn't really fit me, it might be a good idea to bring your own equipment if you wanna explore the underwater world.
It was cancelled, and rescheduled for 2 days later at 9am. On the rescheduled day, I received notice that the time was changed to 10am. I already booked my tuk tuk to bring me the boat, and was waiting for me. I had informed the boat tour provider that I had a lunch appointment at 12:30pm. So the later time would not work. I had to cancel this highlight of my trip to Polignano a mare!
Nice tour! Great way to see Polignano e Mare from the sea and was able to swim for a bit! A little confusing in the beginning as there wasn’t a table or umbrella with the company name (there are several others at the meeting point) but once we found them it was smooth sailing.
