Our guide, Ram was on time at the hotel and we strolled to Phewa Lake to start the tour. He is polite and patient as we frequently slow down/stop for photo-takings throughout the day. He also helped us to take some nice shots. Ram gave us adequate info about each sights; not too lengthy. He managed to get us into a couple of attractions that are very crowded during the holidays weekend, and always keep an eye on us not getting lost in the massive crowd. Overall a great tour to see Pokhara must-go places in a day. The tour ended around 2-ish, do standby some snacks in case hungry as there’s no stop for lunch. The tour didn’t provide us any mineral water although it’s mentioned included, and since we are thirsty, we stumbled upon very nice fresh juices at Pumdikot Shiva Statue and World Peace Stupa. The car also didn’t switch on aircond, luckily it’s a cloudy day, the wind is quite cooling going uphill. Enjoy nature :)

I cannot recommend Ram Paudel highly enough! From the moment he met me at my hotel to the very end of our walk back, he made the entire experience of climbing to the World Peace Pagoda unforgettable. Ram was incredibly patient, kind, and supportive throughout the whole journey. He completely walked at my pace, never rushing me once, and made the experience feel relaxed, enjoyable, and personal. We chatted along the way, stopped whenever I needed, and he genuinely made me feel comfortable every step of the climb. One thing that meant so much to me was how caring and attentive he was to my individual needs. He even carried my water bottle in his bag for me without hesitation, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I was also extremely nervous about the wild dogs along the route, but Ram made me feel totally safe and protected the entire time, keeping them away and reassuring me whenever I felt anxious. He also gave me opportunities to stop for little breaks, including a much-needed ice lolly stop, which made the hike even more enjoyable! On the way back, he took me along a beautiful scenic route with stunning views, making the whole experience feel extra special rather than just a simple walk. What made the experience even better was how knowledgeable Ram was about Pokhara itself. As we walked, he shared interesting facts and local information about the area, which made the whole journey feel even more meaningful and immersive. It felt less like simply hiring a guide and more like exploring the city with a genuinely kind and passionate local friend. Ram is genuinely one of the loveliest, warmest, and most trustworthy guides I have ever met. He went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe, supported, and happy throughout the experience. If you are considering walking to the World Peace Pagoda, I would absolutely recommend going with Ram Paudel — you will be in the best hands possible!

The private tour is so accommodating. There were 3 of us and we went to lots of interesting places. Pradip and D were amazing in bringing us around Pokhara. Pradip can speak our language and that is an added bonus. He even gave great food recommendations. D was with us from Nagarkot and drove us safely but also gave us lots of info about Nepal. All in all we had a great time with Luxury tours. Would recommend friends and family if they were to visit Nepal in the future.
