La Piazza San Carlo est considérée comme le "salon" de Turin. On le sait comme ça parce qu'il y a de nombreux cafés où les politiciens, les philosophes et les gens en général prennent leur café.
La Piazza Carignano est l'une des principales places de Turin.
Le Duomo de Turin est l'une des églises les plus importantes de la ville. Juste à côté et reliée à l'église, il y a une petite chapelle où le Saint Suaire est préservé. Il n'est visible par le public que certains jours de l'année.
Le palais royal était la résidence du premier roi d'Italie, de la famille Savoia. Si vous en avez l'occasion, ne manquez pas une visite à l'intérieur. C'est vraiment une beauté avec les caractéristiques de l'époque à laquelle il a été construit.
La Via Po est une rue de Turin où se trouve la Mole Antonelliana.
La Mole Antonelliana a été construite pour être une synagogue, mais a ensuite été utilisée comme un musée. Aujourd'hui, c'est le célèbre musée du cinéma et du haut, vous pouvez voir une vue magnifique sur toute la ville.
Le quartier romain est l'endroit où se trouvent tous les principaux monuments de l'époque romaine.

Alex did a wonderful just explaining the history and architecture of Torino to my wife and I during our 2-3 hour walking tour. He also provided us with a Vermouth tasting (not generally part of the tour) at a local shop.
We saw the most beautiful the most beautiful buildings Art Deco (Liberty style). We saw the ones in the center beginning with the Subalpina Gallery and then took the tram to see the others (the best ones)
Our guide, Alessio, was very knowledgeable and charming. Could not have asked for a better personalized tour of Turin. Highly recommend!
Carlo was wonderful! He took me to significant historical locations as well as great social gathering places. The cafés were amazing! He shared how they played a part in the history of Turin. I also had the opportunity to enjoy a beverage of chocolate and coffee! The dark chocolate I purchased was delightful! Turin is definitely a gem in the rough. The pace here is much more relaxed than Rome or Florence. It still has a significant role in Italy’s history. The tour is a must!

We are very sad that we didn’t get our guide’s name but she was superb. Took us to all the essential places - palaces, cafes, arcades, museums, markets - so we got our bearings with the history and architecture as well as the geography. Gave us great tips all the way and tailored things to our interests so we could come back and visit sites later. She was intellligent and friendly and a truly great ambassador for her wonderful city. Absolutely highly recommended!
