A nice activity, amazing for the children, the guide very friendly, the food very good, and without problem for an allergic to nuts, very happy and quiet in that aspect, thank you very much, greetings from Lanzarote
They canceled the tour with a few hours notice and also intend to keep the money. An embarrassment of company.
Dear 934ac, Thank you for your review. We believe your review does not reflect the full situation and is unfair to our team. You informed us of your change of mind at 23:00, just hours before the tour, which is outside our business hours. Naturally, we could not accept such a last-minute adjustment. We kindly suggest avoiding last-minute changes in future travels to ensure a smooth experience. Thank you for your feedback.
Complete tour that takes away almost the whole day, absolutely not to be missed!! In just one day you go sledding with dogs, reindeer, go to the village of Santa Claus, lunch in a restaurant, photos with Santa Claus, visit the hill of Rovaniemi and finally Artikum Museum complete with certificate passage Arctic Circle and License to drive reindeer! AMAZING!!
From the welcome in the office and booking this trip was effortless. Our guide Thalis was right on time and our trip was underway, a small party of 7. First stop was the Husky ride, everything was explained and we got time to spend time with the dogs afterwards for pictures. Next was the reindeer ride and the same can be said for that. Onto the Santa Village which again was all explained very well by Thalis, we had lunch and finished at the museum. Overall an excellent day out and well worth it. Big round of applause for our guide who was experienced and attentive to all.
I arrived late. It said 08.45. But it turned out to start at 08.20, notification only via email. It did not match what was written on the tour schedule. Okay, that was my fault. I immediately went to catch up as soon as possible by taxi. It said the main agenda was within 3 hours. When we got there, they said the event was over. But we paid, and we could still join the event. Funny, too stiff. Very unprofessional. Sorry, that's how I felt. And 1 more thing, this tour is very expensive, not worth it
Dear traveller, Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry for the confusion regarding the schedule. We strive for clear communication and will review our notifications to improve clarity. We appreciate your honesty, as it helps us enhance our services. We hope to provide a better experience in the future. Best regards,
It was disappointing. The group we travelled with was too large and we ended up waiting around. This was worse when the waiting was in super cold weather. The guide was new and was not able to engage with the group. She lacked also the knowledge.
The peak season bus loads of day visitors daily filled all attractions by 11am and left us as with limited options to enjoy the attractions. We were house guests of the Santa Claus igloos and as paying house guests you would expect any kind of “insider passes” or “guest priority bookings”. Basically if you didn’t book the day before you didn’t get on any rides. Santa experience is rushed and commercialised, he said “hello” then “I hope you enjoy your stay in Finland” to every guest we paid $55EURO for 3 digital downloads. Also if you are planning a trip, you should pre-book your rides and events, and make sure you budget for $50 EURO each for long queues and short rides. Basically allow $500 euro for a full day to experience all attractions. Then there is the 15-20 gift shops you would do well if you are able to avoid. The least memorable was the “information” stand were the girls were there to sell “Arctic circle certificates” and basically couldn’t help me when I asked which food venues had kids menus, they tried to upsell me to the “ice world experience as it has a bar”. 🤷♂️ anyway if you are after a pretty old and tacky amusement park basing its revenue of Santa himself… you found it.
Dear carlb550, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We understand that during peak season, the increased number of visitors can make some activities feel crowded, and we appreciate your patience. We always aim to offer the best possible experience, and your comments regarding the long waits will help us ensure we communicate this more clearly in the future. We are also sorry to hear that the Santa experience felt rushed. We strive to create a magical and memorable visit for all guests, and we will take your feedback into account to ensure that we improve in this area. Regarding the services and facilities, we want to clarify that the prices for photos, activities, and the gift shops are not under our control, as they are not part of our company. Our responsibility is to take you to visit Santa Claus Holiday Village, and we aim to make that experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused, and your feedback is very valuable to us. We will use it to enhance the experience for future visitors. Best regards,
We had a fantastic experience with guides Gigi and Max at Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi. They were professional, friendly and passionate, making the hike unforgettable. Highly recommended! 🎅
It's a total waste of full day. It's much better to go to Santa Claus village yourself and buy individual tickets for each activity and save time overall . Also Santa Claus village is only for those taking their kids along for the experience
We did the Santa Claus village tour with CRISSY. She was an excellent guide picking us up from our accommodation after sending a reminder re pick up. She was very sensitive to the needs of the group and engaged with all of us. The wait to meet Santa was reasonable - c 40 minutes. Lunch was delicious and we even had time to explore on our own
