Visitez le monastère d'Agios Gerasimos, le plus grand et le plus important de toute l'île de Céphalonie. Agios Gerasimos est en effet le saint patron de l'île et le jour de sa fête, le monastère est rempli de pèlerins. Situé sur les hauteurs de Céphalonie, au bout d'une route protégée par de grands arbres, se trouve le monastère d'Agios Gerasimos, précédé d'un imposant portique doté d'un clocher. Il s'agit d'un majestueux bâtiment en briques roses construit selon la tradition architecturale byzantine.
Cette grotte impressionnante a plus de 100 millions d'années. La nature a créé d'innombrables stalactites et stalagmites où vous aurez l'occasion de vous promener à l'intérieur.
Les visiteurs accèdent au lac par un tunnel souterrain et ont la possibilité de l'explorer avec un bateau et un guide. Par conséquent, ils peuvent admirer cette œuvre naturelle unique de sculpture créée par les stalactites et la couleur cristalline bleu-vert des eaux.
L'un des plus beaux villages de Céphalonie, Fiscardo est célèbre pour son atmosphère cosmopolite et ses maisons colorées ! Ici, vous apprécierez un merveilleux déjeuner ou un café au bord du port !

Si vous séjournez à Lixouri et que vous souhaitez assister à cette excursion, la prise en charge se fait au port d'Argostoli. Pour cette visite, le service de ramassage n'est pas disponible à partir des villages d'Agia Efimia, Sami, Fiscardo et Assos en raison de leur emplacement en dehors de nos zones de ramassage désignées. Ce circuit ne convient pas aux croisiéristes en raison de contraintes de temps. Nous vous recommandons d'envisager d'autres options qui s'adaptent mieux à votre emploi du temps.

This was a very good coach trip around Kephalonia. You get to see some amazing sites. Could feel a little rushed at times. Didn't want to visit the shop at the end of the day...which was unscheduled.

Excellent trip, barring having to go to Argostolli on a feeder minibus from Skala, where we picked up the main coach. Maria was our host, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the sights and places we visited. The robola winery and monastery were our first port of call, then the Drogarati cave, followed by a photo stop at Myrtos. It was then off to the north of the island and Fiskardo fo 90 minutes lunch and sight-seeing. Then back on the coach to Mesallini Lake. A more direct route was made to get us back to Poros and Skala instead of going back to Argostolli.

An excellent way to experience the rich heritage, of a beautiful Island. We could not have wished for a more interesting, informative, knowledgeable tour guide. Maria was the best!! Her and Dimetrie, the coach driver, were so helpful and efficient, the dream team. 😊

A great day with some stunning scenery. From the tranquility of the monastery to the wine tasting and onward visits to the caves and the beautiful lake it’s a great tour with plenty of photo opportunities. Then lunch at Fiscardo was the icing on the cake. Wear appropriate clothing for the monastery as ladies can’t go in wearing shorts and uncovered shoulders. Men knee length shorts. Wear sensible footwear for the caves and underground lake. Take euros you will need some in places for entry fees. Take a hat. No shade in places and it gets hot out there. Especially after the excellent wine tasting.

This is the first time I have not been happy with a Viator excursion. I had booked Kefalonia Highlights. What I got was Kefalonia island Tour. I was advised the evening before I would be picked up at 7.50. Bit surprised I responded to the text to check. I expected to be picked up at 9am. Was then told they could only get a big bus! It would have been better had I been advised beforehand. Hotel breakfast doesn’t open until 8am. Therefore we went without! We were picked up in Skala 15 minutes late (we could’ve had a coffee and pastry). We had to change buses in a lay-by along the way. Picking up in a few places as we went. 2 hours later we arrive in Argostoli to pick up. After our journey as far as Argostoli it would have been nice to have been given a comfort break. Didn’t happen! We then started the Island Tour. Going to a Monastery here was the first opportunity to use a loo. These were disgusting!! Doors didn’t lock, no tissue in any toilet cubicle or liquid soap for hand washing. We then continued to the Robola wine tasting, not very impressed, then on to Dragorati Caves and Melissani Lake. Then carrying on our journey to Fiscardo. We had a photo stop above Myrtos Beach - breathtaking. We arrived in Fiscardo at 2pm. We were given 1.5 hours and advised we had to be back on the coach for 3.30. An hour and a half was not long enough in my view because we needed a drink and something to eat. By the time lunch was ordered and eaten we had 30 minutes to look round Fiscardo. We left Fiscardo for the journey back. We arrived at Argostoli and were then transferred to another coach again for the 1.5 hours back to Skala. We arrived back at our hotel at 6pm. Whilst the Guide and our Coach driver were lovely. Guide was very informative. I would advise anyone NOT to do this excursion if you are staying in Skala. You are the wrong side of the island.

A wonderful experience. The wines are well presented, with an excellent explanation from the staff. A selection of food is provided which went down well! The price was very reasonable when purchased on site!!
