We had a great 2 days exploring Barcelona with Kimberly! We got to know all the different neighborhoods and learned and experienced the city’s unique culture, cuisine, and geography! Kimberly was knowledgeable, kind, and fun!
Kimberly was awesome! We found her through a Facebook group recommendation and decided to book her for a day. Communications with her were super easy; she asked us a few questions to help plan the day and was very flexible with us, especially since we had a 5-year old in our group. She took us to Park Guell, the Gothic Quarter and Born, giving us a ton of great history and interesting tidbits that really helped provide some context to what we were seeing around the city. Her passion for history really shows and she presented the information in a really engaging manner to keep everyone interested. She gave us breaks when we wanted them and really catered the day to our interests and limitations. We did bring a stroller for our daughter, which was very key in allowing us to walk all those hours! We really enjoyed our day with Kimberly and highly recommend her!
Kimberly was great, very knowledgeable and easy going. Took her time with us and explained very cool and interesting historical info on our tour.
Kimberly was a gem from the first moment we started planning our trip! She was gracious to map around another small group tour we’d set up that included the Gothic area. Such thoughtful consideration of all our stops, shopping, and meals helped us to feel the community aspect of Barcelona. We enjoyed seeing all 4 neighborhoods and especially loved Born. She provided fascinating insights and captivating stories about the various festivals and rich history of Barcelona. While there were no festivals while we were there, seeing the giants up close was so special! Her ability to connect historical events with present-day contexts left us with such an appreciation for the city's rich heritage. We have a friend in Barcelona, not just a private guide! She was so flexible we even broke for a siesta and then resumed our tour. She stopped into a few local shops for us to make some purchases, lovely local shops, the oldest roaster, and Christmas ornaments with a very funny story! I’m still enjoying the candy and the roasted almonds we brought home. We would love to go back to Barcelona again and there is only one person I would call - KIMBERLY!
My family spent two days with Kimberly at the end of May touring Barcelona and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. She was wonderful to work with leading up to our trip and we got to see so much of Barcelona and Catalan culture in just two short days. Kimberly was the perfect guide for our family and was excellent with our three girls ages 5,7,10. We were not stuck to a strict schedule and had plenty of time to explore and take in the experience. My girls only wish we had more time with her!
Our first trip to Barcelona did not disappoint! Our family (4 adults) had a fantastic time exploring the city with Kimberly SigaMiga Barcelona. The itinerary was personalized to our needs. We spent the first day touring the different neighborhoods in the city. We got to try local foods and hear the history behind the traditions. Our second day was spent walking by several Gaudí homes and Park Guéll and ended at Sagrada Familia. Kimberly made our first visit to Spain memorable. She was also very helpful answering questions and recommended other excursions for us. We highly recommend her!
We had a wonderful week with Kimberly in Barcelona! She is very organized and made sure we saw all the sites and cultural events. She knows all the local people and that made our trip more enjoyable. I highly recommend Komberly for your Barcelona experience!
We had a wonderful time exploring Barcelona with Kimberly from Sigamiga. My husband and I and our 7/9 year olds started the day by meeting Kimberly for churros con chocolate where we were able to get to know each other and get energy for a long day of walking (8 hours). She took us through Born, Gothic, Raval and Barconleta, stopping to point out all historical, and cultural sites along the way. She explained and showed us the history of the city through old ruins. She kept it engaging for our children and allowed for plenty of rests especially to get yummy treats. It was a great way to see Barcelona when you only have a few days in town or if you just want an in depth explanation to get to know the layout. She will customize the tour to your interests and call you ahead of time to plan. If you want a tour as if your friend were showing you around their city, Kimberly is the one for you.
We had an opportunity to spend 42 hours in Barcelona and we chose to spend 8 of it with Kim. I contacted her a few months ago to ask her to plan a day for my husband , myself and our 2 kids (12 and 14). Weeks before the trip, she would check in with me occasionally. She gave us tips and got to know what we were interested in. she came up with an itinerary taking us through 4 neighborhoods , talking about the culture , trying the food and keeping the kids engaged (which is not easy to do with tweens/teens for 8 hours!) . We all had a great time ! She had everything planned but still felt like we were going at our own pace . It truly felt like having a local friend for a day! Kim showed us why she fell in love with Barcelona and at the end of the day , we ended up feeling the same way. We are hoping to go back soon (hopefully for much longer than 42 hours) :).
Kimberly was friendly, engaging & very knowledgeable- took my family of 4 on a tour of Gothic, Born, Raval & Barconeleta. We also used her trip planning services to come up with a detailed itinerary for our entire stay in Barcelona- it’s truly like having a local friend help you customize your trip! It was super easy to communicate with her through What’s App both before & during our trip.
