I booked in mid-June. I saw the Dimçay cave but the dwarf cave was the one I saw. However, that was not a problem. According to the description, nothing was mentioned about the jeep tour, which was a lot of fun, including a water fight for the round trip (transfer by jeep). The entrance to the canyon was included; only the dwarf cave had to be paid for separately. Food was available along the Dimçay River in a nice location right by the water where we were also allowed to swim for 30 minutes. What was okay was the ice-cold water. In the restaurant, a buffet was prepared; there was plenty of food. However, when you sit at the table, a waiter comes with fries, juices, drinks, etc. You should know that these come at an extra cost. A price list is distributed to the tables beforehand. A beautiful tour that one should definitely take for both young and old.

A nice way to spend the day out of the hotel, visiting beautiful nature spots around Alanya. First you stop at a little mini river/rest spot where you can purchase some Turkish pancakes (200lira) to break up the drive for about twenty minutes/half an hour... Then the next stop off is at the Sapadere Canyon, where you get to walk all the way up to the top, take some photos, have a dip if you want to and come back down. Next you head off to dim caves, where you can enter and walk through (for an additional 7 euros/300 lira).. After the caves, you are taken to the dim river for lunch and a swim - there is the choice to swim in the river or the pool (or a bit of both) which has slides and it was a lovely finish to the day. I gave it five stars because the tour company delivered on what it was supposed to do, and really well. The tour guide was great and the drivers - all very friendly. I would strongly advise you take plenty of drinks because there's quite a bit of walking involved and be prepared for the more than 1 hour long transport between hotel to the first spot and then again between the canyon and the cave/river. Take some extra cash for the pancakes, cave and maybe even the photos that were available from the photographer that follows you for the day (that cost around 50 euro and he sends you all of the photos and video for the day). Overall we enjoyed ourselves, we were a party of 6 adults, one teenager and 4 children (one as young as 4). We opted for the coach version, but you can go via jeep as well, if you want a more exciting experience.
Thank you for your review. We hope to welcome you back again soon.
Generel speaking, it was a okay trip. BUT, the guide could easy make it better by having more knowlige about the atractions as were visiting. For example in Sapadere Canyon, the distance from restaurant to the waterfall, we asked but he didnt know. Likevise the guide could make the bustrip better by telling about the landscape and remarkable things as passed under the driving. For exampel on the trip home, we passed a huge statue beside a flag on a hillside, but nobody knew why it stod there? By-by from Soren

Nice trip only the description as it says here on TripAdvisor is not correct. We were not picked up by a Jeep but a regular van and also there was no visit to the place known for silk production, and swimming was also not possible due to the strong current. The guide Anna was very friendly and had a lot of knowledge. Because of the price, the trip was still sufficient.
Bedankt voor uw recensie. We hopen u snel weer te mogen verwelkomen.
It was a tour with a lot of exciting impressions from the interior, where we would not otherwise have gotten there so quickly on foot; amazing views of Alanya and the mountains, from orchards along the way to an exciting gorge with mountain stream to the impressive stalactite cave... full porgram that I definitely wouldn't manage every day of our holiday, but on the 5 days of our stay that was a great fit to do this one tour with.

This is an experience for those that like to have adventure and unexpected fun. We never did make it to the silk experience.

After reading the description and itinerary we were expecting to drive up to Sapadere canyon, possibly with some information about the history/wildlife in the area, and then a visit to Sapadere village for info about silk production. Although the trip mentions Dim Cave in the info, this wasn't actually mentioned in the itinerary so we weren't sure what to expect. We got picked up back on time and taken to meet up the rest of the tour, where our guide explained we would be going to a small family restaurant and learn about pancake making, then to Goblin Cave (which you had to pay 150 lira per person to enter) and then on to the canyon. They also informed us at this point that waterfighting between the jeeps was traditional, and before we knew it we were absolutely soaked and firing water guns at each other as we overtook in every other lay-by on the way into the mountains. The first stop at the family pancake place would have been fine, if they hadn't started by turning a massive foam cannon on the crowd. Whilst we were trying to dry our clothes and people had pancakes, the tour guide approached and asked us to pay in advance for entry to the canyon. I explained we had paid for this already with our Viator booking, which got me a confused look. He explained everybody on the tour had to pay, as is was only another 150 lira each we agreed to save from an argument, however when I showed him the Viator booking email and tickets, he again looked confused and said we would sort it out later. Later never came. Goblin Cave was cool although not particularly big, absolutely no information was provided apart from that it was found about 7 years ago.. Sapadere Canyon was absolutely stunning and just about worth the 2-3 hours of messing around water fighting in the jeeps, however we only got to stay for an hour which was not really long enough to have a swim. Food in the family restaurant was simple but all very tasty. Who knows what happened to the Sapadere Silk production stuff, presumably it does happen but nobody mentioned it. We then got taken home, thankfully with no further water fights. To be clear, had we known what we were signing up for, we would probably still have gone. However we would have been fully kitted out in swim wear from the start and probably tried to book a separate tour for all of the nerdy local info. There were other tours who appeared to have go this memo and looked to be having a much better time. Our tour guide mentioned Get Your Guide several times and didnt know what Viator was, so I do wonder if Viator need to get some wires uncrossed and make sure they're advertising the right thing. Again, overall was not a bad day out, in fact it was great fun and I would highly recommend to anyone with kids, or who just wants to have a laugh and doesn't really care about the culture, history or wildlife near Alanya. However, if you're a nerdy couple who wanted a nice day out to learn about local culture, book something else.

Trip was pretty and very fun, especially the water fights. Be prepared to get very wet and maybe wear sensible shoes as there is some walking. Very fun day whether with kids or not!

Driver was very prompt with pickup from our hotel. After all the hotel collections we met other jeeps at a vantage point on a mountain where our tour guide introduced himself and explained the format for the day. BE AWARE. They hire out water pistols for the Jeeps and people do hire them! Now I was not up for this but to be fair it did get everyone in high spirits and brought my grumpy 6 year old alive again and into a good mood. The journey to the first stop was the Jeeps leap frogging each other so an epic (and all in good spirits) water fight could happen. The first stop (everyone already drenched) was actually to a traditional pancake house not a silk factory as advertised. Didn't bother us as this was actually a spot we could swim in the river. We saw turtles and fish as well. 30 minutes stop here. Next stop was to the Goblin caves for another 30 minutes. Entry was extra for tickets but very inexpensive so we didn't mind and it was interesting to look inside and walk round. Onto Sapadere canyon for an hour's stop. Again extra but very worth it for the money. Scenery was amazing and there were three swimming spots which were amazing but there water so cold it was like jumping into a plunge pool. Fantastic experience though. Afterwards we drove to the lunch stop. Chicken kebab, rice, bread and salad. Basic but tasty and it filled a hole. Drinks were additional charge. Once everyone had finished eating it was back to the hotel. A very fun day all round even though my grumpy 14 year old could barely admit it.
Thank you for your review. We hope to see you again soon.
Nothing Fancy. The cave and falls are small , nothing to impress. They are ordinary , Not a lot of people are impress with the water battle.
