Depuis plus de 100 ans de vie, Poças est actuellement à partir de la 4ème génération, envoyant une des rares entreprises de vin de Porto naissantes portugaises et restant dans sa famille depuis sa fondation. Nos vins de Porto Tawny ont construit la réputation de Poças, mais il y a déjà 30 ans que les vins DOC Douro ont également prouvé leur qualité. En 2019, Poças a reçu le prix de "Producteur de Vinhos Fortificados do Anno 2018" attribué à la Revista de Vinhos. Il a reçu environ 28 000 visiteurs par an, en 2018, le Centre de Visites s'est distingué avec le certificat d'Excellence de TripAdvisor. Connosco va fusionner dans l'atmosphère familière des Poças, sentir l'arôme inesquecível des plus nobles vins et observer les rotinas d'une caverne de vie.

Cette expérience comprend une visite guidée dans toute notre cave avec une dégustation à la fin de la visite. Cette dégustation comprendra une sélection de vin de Porto et de vin de table DOC Douro. Nous commencerons par nos vins DOC Douro, d'abord notre vin blanc de réserve de Poças suivi de notre vin rouge de réserve de Poças. Ensuite, nous servirons les vins de Porto dans un premier temps avec un Tawny de 10 ans, puis avec notre LBV. Nous avons également à votre disposition différentes harmonisations que vous pouvez sélectionner pour faire l'accord parfait avec votre vin.

We took this tour because we were unsure of whether we would enjoy port and didn't want to commit to a multi-winery tasting. The tour of the cellar or "lodge" as it is called locally was excellent...included a great overview of how port wine is made and the different variations, as well as why port is so unique to the area in Portugal. The explanations of what we were tasting was also well done, tying back to what was discussed in the tour.

This was a brilliant experience. A family run business but so professional. We had Cindy as our tour guide and she was amazing. So informative about everything from the beginning to the end of the Port/wine making process. Got to taste 2 wines/2 Ports and loved every minute. Such a reasonable experience and would recommend to anyone wanting a shorter experience rather than a 5 hour vineyard tour.

Tour available in several languages, which was really good. Our mother tongue being French, we took the tour in this language and our guide was great: passionate, dynamic and friendly. there was the choice of 2 white wines, 1 red, 2 white port and 1 red port. Very nice selection of wines by the glass if you want to extend the experience. I highly recommend

Absolutely recommended. Guide in Italian, very interesting tasting. Too bad not to be able to board bottles but beyond expectations. Untouristy area and a bit 'difficult to reach but absolutely worth it

Visit of excellent level both in customer attention and in the details exposed by the guide. The latter was in English for reasons of time, but is also present in Italian (I recommend it because unfortunately some information is difficult to pick up if you do not chew English well). Really interesting wine tasting with an unexpected gift (which unfortunately I forgot on the table 😭). By the way, it is the only winery still 100% Portuguese and in an area that is anything but touristy, it is definitely worth a chance.

Nice information and tour. A real family business! The table wine that is poured is not special and not very tasty. The port against that was great, I would not choose a tasting with table wine.
