This was a stellar snorkeling adventure! The guides were knowledgeable and pointed out many different types of sea life we had not seen before. Everyone was friendly and accommodating from pickup to dropoff!
Such a great crew, they made the experience. Left Marigot Bay closer to 10:30am, half the boat snorkeled and half scuba. Lunch between two snorkel-dive spots. Lunch was delicious! Back closer to 3pm. Chill vibe, synchronized a fun day. Wear sun shirts! Our backs were very burnt after the snorkeling. (special note, we came from the windjammer hotel and had a pick up around 8:30 AM. It was closer to a 2 Hour drive to get there which was pretty rough …something to think about.)
Fantastic day for our group of 3 - two snorkelers and one diver. So awesome to snorkel with a guide. He pointed at what to look at, and then came up to tell us what we were seeing. Eels, puffer fish, sting rays, octopus, star fish- so cool! Would have never noticed half of what we saw without him. We got to be in the water for a whole hour at a time. We are experienced strong swimmers - however may be tough for a beginner. Delicious lunch between sessions was served on the boat. My daughter said the diving was spectacular. Best shipwreck she has seen - covered in brightly covered coral. The captain, crew and guides were safe, friendly and fun. Highly recommend!
Amazing snorkeling trip. Beautiful views, lots of fish, the guides were very helpful. Lucky took good care of us snorkeling! Different than many other tours we’ve been on in that you are in the water a long time! Just two stops, and you are in the water an hour at least each time. Short boat ride each way. Might not be the best if you aren’t a strong swimmer/snorkeler though. Lunch was delicious- they serve it onboard before heading back. We were done about an hour earlier than advertised, would have loved a bit of a boat tour along the island to fill the time? Otherwise- excellent tour
Second time using this company. They offer scuba diving, kayaking and snorkeling. Very professional and a good lunch. Water was a little murky but still tons of fish to see.
Excellent snorkel tour! Boat was 1/2 divers, 1/2 snorkel - just be aware as you are gathering, that yes, you are in the right group! LOL. Plenty of room on the boat, not like the cruise ship excursions. The equipment looked to be in great shape, but we bring our own. Still, they had the anti-fog for our use, which again, we carry, but was a nice touch. Soooooo many operators do not provide such a basic item. The snorkeling itself was fantastic. It was NOT a 10 minute short tour, which is what most do. No, this was 2 sessions, each 30+ minutes in the water, with the guide pointing out caves, eels, particular fish, etc, etc. By far the best guide/tour we have ever had. The wildlife was great, but we have had a couple slightly better, but that is not something the tour can control - and it was still great anyway. I was just happy it was not the typical 10 minute in and out. Now, that said, if this is your first snorkel, this may not be the right one for you. We were snorkeling 5 feet away from rock caves, in the waves. If you don't know what you are doing, you can be smashed into the rocks. As the number of folks was small, this was manageable, and everyone could get close and then move away. Good group. A beginner might not like this, or the 30 minutes in the water. They did have vests available, I don't use them, but the others did. Also - the boat has stairway type ladder, not vertical ladder. That is soooo much easier to get in and out (I was able to walk up with my flippers on for example)
Excellent tour! We snorkeled three sites in St Lucia, all beautiful. From our driver, Elvis, to the boat crew, everyone was professional and helpful, and we felt safe and well-informed. Our boat was a mix of snorkelers and divers, which made the tour more interesting. Our snorkel escorts were attentive and helped us get the most out of each site. Definitely would choose this team again.
TOTAL RIP OFF!!! 6 snorkelers stuck on a dive boat with 10 divers. Have to wait while divers suit up, decompress, go to different sites, and GUIDE WAS EVEN CERTIFYING 2 other people!! Focus on everything BUT SNORKELING. Didn't leave dock till 10:30 a.m. as they were organizing divers. Had to constantly move around small dive boat to accommodate their equipment. One seemingly inexperienced guide in water with snorkelers, one inexperienced snorkeler far away from group, guide sure did not notice, nor did he notice when people returned to the boat!! UNLESS YOU ARE A DIVER DO NOT USE!!! Viator just a front to take money; did not look into complaints; told to take up with local "Dive Fair Helen" who DID NOT return calls. Had NO pick-up time given; called Viator rep. LONG DISTANCE, and provided misinformation. If you book with Viator, YOU ARE TOTALLY ON YOUR OWN = Consumer beware!!
Snorkeling tour -NO- dive tour yes. 6 of us got stuck on a dive boat with 10 divers. 2 of the divers were bring certified. We had to wait all the time for them, to pick up in different locations, while they decompressed . They over booked this snorkeling tour and we got the shaft. No one should book with this tour company, they are ALL about the MONEY. We even had to contact them because they gave no pick up time. No answer from Dive fair on St Lucia, and stupid answers from the customer care center we called. It's pretty sad ,how they treat people.
Great Snorkel Areas....Everything was taken care of and easy. Gear was in good condition. Would definitely book again.
