Plongée en apnée à Gran Canaria avec prise en charge à l'hôtel

Everyone was super nice and helpful. Sadly the snorkeling spot was quite disappointing. Low visibility and only a few fish to see. Apparently there were too many waves at their normal spot. For that it took a surprising amount of time. The snorkel was mouldy, but i'm not sure whether this causes any problems. So all in all. Maybe ask in advance whether the weather is good for snorkeling. If not, find something else to do, it's not worth it.

Sooo many options out there, and I can’t speak for all of them, but I think we made the right choice coming to Leagues. Let me start off with the package: we paid 55 euros for pick up, drop off, equipment, AND experience?! All the equipment was clean, and in good condition. You were given the option of a short of full wet suit, and after some recommendations from the team we all chose the full body. The full body wet suit was perfect us, it helped you float when you were tired and kept you warm from the water (which didn’t feel chilly at all). We had Aaron as our guide, and he was incredible, he gave us a run down for the fish we would see, told us some jokes, helped us put on our fins while in the water, kept pointing out the creatures he saw and was constantly checking up on us/ reminding us to turn on our backs if we are tired. You had the choice of staying near him or wandering a little ways off. I wandered off a bit and missed an octopus they saw :/ (so do with that as you please). He was also capturing pictures of us and our dive while we were out there and gave us a link for them that night! Overall it was a great experience we saw some cool fish, and met some cool people with a genuine passion for what they’re doing. I really wish we could’ve been out there longer :,). We had a wonderful experience with very knowledgeable adn experienced guides. Pick up from hotel was on time. Very kind, professional and helpful throughout. We were outfitted with all the gear including wet suits which was so helpful to keep us safe and comfortable in the water. The guide the entire experience extremely fun. Amazing sea life!! We had a great morning out snorkelling inTufia. Aaron was a great guide. He took good care of us and communicated really well. We saw lots of fish, which Aaron identified. The water was calm and clear. It seems they choose the site according to weather conditions to ensure the best experience is had by all. They provided wet suits, neoprene boots, the snorkelling equipment along with flippers. Aaron took photos of the fish to send on to us. I highly recommend this trip. Being picked up from our hotel was very convenient. Thank you Aaron.

The whole family had a great morning snorkelling with Leagues Ahead. It had all been arranged smoothly before we got to Gran Canaria thanks to clear communication, and all operational matters such as hotel pick-up went perfectly. The snorkelling itself was excellent, I was particularly impressed by the ratio of guides to snorkellers so that we could all benefit from their considerable knowledge of the local site. It was my first time snorkelling in Gran Canaria and I was surprised by the variety of underwater life at Tufia, even though we missed out on seeing an Octopus that day. The all-round experience convinced me that Leagues Ahead would be perfect for our son to "Discover Scuba Diving" later that week - see separate review.

My daughter and I have never been snorkeling before, due to the positive reviews and proximity to the hotel we chose this dive & snorkel center. It was all wonderful, James and the crew were very funny, attentive, and friendly. The pickup, briefing, drive to Tufia and the snorkeling was perfect, we were very happy! The next time we visit we will try diving!

We had a great time snorkeling, it was at a calm sea so perfect for beginners such as myself. You meet up at their location in the city where you get a briefing etc. and after that you're brought to the snorkeling site by bus. It's a small group so you can get all the help you need and our awesome instructor James checks in with you if everything is 👌 or not and you might need help. During snorkeling the instructor pointed out different animals so we didn't miss any cool creatures 😊 At the end we were all given the choice to continue for a couple more minutes, which we obviously took! We had so much fun and I really recommend snorkeling with them!

The guys from Leagues Ahead Diving are very friendly and accommodating. Dressing in the wetsuits and all the equipment was super uncomplicated. The pick-up service is just as convenient. Our snorkeling trip was really very eventful and beautiful. Would do it again at any time!

Can only recommend the tour. The boys are trying very hard to make everything work. Changing the pick uplocation at short notice was no problem at all and could be quickly clarified via WhatsApp. I never felt like this was a rip-off. But you have to be prepared to talk in English.

Arran was very personable and was very calm, reassuring and explained about the equipment and what we should do if we needed to take a break from snorkelling. He kept a watchful eye on us throughout our snorkelling trip and was very informative about what to look for and also showed us things that we may not have noticed ourselves We had full confidence in him and his abilities and would certainly go snorkelling with him again if we go back to Gran Canaria
