Wonderful experience in Baia with the extremely friendly guides. Would recommend to anybody. We enjoyed the snorkeling tour with Andrea so much, a unique experience.

Avez-vous déjà vu une ville sous l'eau ? Découvrez les merveilles de l'ancienne ville romaine de Baia, où le luxe était la norme, qui est aujourd'hui partiellement submergée en raison de la forte activité volcanique des Campi Flegrei, la zone géologique où nous sommes situés. Le phénomène appelé bradyséisme a entraîné une lente baisse du niveau de la terre au fil des ans. Aujourd'hui, les villas romaines qui faisaient autrefois face à la mer se trouvent à environ quatre mètres sous l'eau et la mer les a magnifiquement préservées. Venez avec nous voir l'ancienne ville romaine de Baia, vous vivrez l'expérience de nager sur une ancienne ville maintenant habitée par la vie marine. Tous les vestiges, dont la profondeur n'excède pas quatre mètres, ont une visibilité parfaite depuis la surface et vous pouvez facilement les admirer en apnée !

Excellent adventure
It helps if you’ve snorkeled before but 5 of the 6 on this trip hadn’t. We took a small boat a few minutes into the bay and snorkeled with our guide who was very knowledgeable

Highlight of our trip to Naples
Amazing experience with incredibly friendly guides in a beautiful and peaceful town, an excellent reprieve from the bustling of Naples. The snorkeling is a particularly fun and relaxed experience requiring no previous diving experience, as the underwater sights aren't very deep. If you can swim, you will have fun. Additionally, you can go visit the castle up the hill with a museum providing further historical context for the Roman baths and various other epochs that have inhabited this history-rich region. There's a bus directly from Naples center which drops you off right at the doorstep of the diving place and bay. This was pretty much the highlight of our trip to Naples (which is a pretty high standard to begin with). Highly recommended!

Snorkelling over Roman ruins
Unique experience snorkelling over a sunken villa in the harbour of Baia, seeing the ancient ruins and mosaics. Well organised with a very lovely snorkelling guide, Kaye who showed us where to look. The water was a bit murky and those who were able to dive down got a better look. Still was a very cool experience.

Great company to snorkel with
We enjoyed our tour, and particularly loved our guide. I cannot remember her name, but she was really fun, helpful, experienced, and knowledgeable. And I am always impressed when guides can communicate in multiple languages! I would definitely recommend this company. I will say I think there was a lot of activity in the water and a lot of wind so maybe August is not the best time to go, as the water was a bit rough - felt like being in a washing machine for an hour! Perfectly safe but a bit tiring and lots of water in the snorkel - I think I would not recommend this activity at all for someone who was not a strong swimmer. As for what we saw, we booked the lowest level experience and saw walls and floors and mosaics of one section of the old villa... if you want to see more, book a longer trip. For me, it was enough to get a feel for the place and I really enjoyed it.

Amazing trip
The whole experience was great, really easy to book lots of helpful tips on how to get there very professional, i went with my teenage sons.The guide Kay was great, really helpful on fitting our equipment and helping us throughout the trip. Fantastic opertunity to view the sunken ruins. I even drop my phone and it fell to the sea bed she dived down very quickly.to get it amazing

Best snorkel tour ever!
The snorkel tour of the ruins was a great experience. The staff was excellent and engaged with us the entire time. We will definitely be doing more tours with Sea World Baia Diving

Good experience
Very well organised, with lots to see, extended time when someone became ill and had to go back to the shore, showers and changing rooms basic

At the same time, we know that unexpected situations can happen when spending time on a boat, which is why we extend the time in the water whenever possible, so that the rest of the group can still enjoy the experience they came for without being affected by the unforeseen situation! They are intentionally simple and practical: each changing room has a seat and a place to hang your belongings, while the showers are there to do exactly what you need after a dive — rinse off and get the salt off before heading home! Very cool experience with a lovely professional team. Prepare to dive to see the mosaics as they are not really visible from the surface.

Best experience!
An amazing experience that I could not recommend enough! Everyone was so kind and welcoming, so knowledgeable and comforting. I was a bit nervous but I felt very comfortable almost straight away and we had so much fun learning the facts, seeing the ruins and the fishes! It could not have gone better- we booked the 8am slot and got lucky it was just us two on the session :) it is a relaxed environment, everyone was chatty and they had also adopted kittens so that was an added bonus :). Thank you so much for the best experience
