Même s’il existe de nombreuses possibilités d’observation et de plongée des requins en Afrique du Sud, Gansbaai et Shark Alley, en particulier, sont l’un des meilleurs endroits pour découvrir les requins dans leur habitat naturel. Shark Alley est un canal d'eau entre deux îles: l'île Dyer et Geyser Rock. L'île Dyer abrite 50 000 phoques du Cap-Fur et offre de nombreuses possibilités de chasse au prédateur de pointe. C’est une expérience inoubliable pour vous d’affronter le plus grand prédateur au monde. Avec le groupe de l'île de Dyer à proximité, qui abrite 50 000 otaries à fourrure, il s'agit de la capitale mondiale des grands requins blancs. Bénéficiant de la plus grande population de ces créatures majestueuses toute l'année, la plongée en cage avec les requins et les excursions d'observation des requins sont un must!

Was fun. Disappointed the great whites are gone but still a cool experience to see other sharks up close in the wild.
The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful during our tour - telling us about the different sharks we saw, helping us with our wetsuits, and providing water and snacks after our turn in the cage. They made sure everyone got a chance to be face to face with a shark, and Edgar did a great job taking videos of our experience, including some action shots!
This was a fun experience! We were able to see 4 bronze whale sharks extremely close up! I would keep in mind that great white sharks are not in the area often due to orcas so if you’re set on those this may not be for you. I would also add that it gets extremely rocky on the boat! I did end up vomiting. However, it was still a good experience and I would do it again!
Everything from the arrival to the explanation of the day to the actual sharks and manta ray was amazing. The guides are incredibly helpful and the simple lunch was fantastic. I highly recommend this excursion!!

Great experience, just be prepared for cold water and blurry viewing under water due to the chum being thrown in to draw the sharks near you.

Firstly, our driver Ronnie was great! Provided stops along the long journey and was really kind and answered lots of questions. The trip itself was an experience. There was plenty of shark activity for our group of 20. There were 4 groups of 4/5 that went for 20 minutes at a time. First and last group got the best viewing but think that's down to luck. I didn't see anything in the cage, but I had fantastic views from the boat and saw lots of sharks. It was a bit chaotic handing out wetsuits but other than that it was well organised. Bottled water was provided and lollipops if you felt a little queasy. You can choose to pay 300ZAR extra for oxygen so you don't have to hold your breath under the water when sharks appear. In our experience, if we could do it again we would do it without - once your under the water you can't hear the lookout guide telling you which way to look as the sharks approach so it's easier to miss them. All in all a good tour, and we were provided with a light breakfast and then some soup and bread on return. Would recommend, but keep your expectations real that they are wild and not predictable so you may not get the experience you hope for.

They never picked me up. After endless messages, they eventually replied to me and said sorry and that they’re sold out. They never refunded me after multiple requests.
TOTALLY UNTRUE! The client concerned did NOT reply to several messages regarding the pick up time. This is a scandalous and found less accusation to which we take great offence to the these unfounded accusations. The REFUND has been done, EVEN THOUGH, we were totally entitled to claim 100% cancellation fee for NOT RESPONDING to our messages 24 hours before the tour. These accusations are very damaging to the good reputation of a business and is extremely concerning the untruths regarding clients accusations!
Shark cage experience 10/10. Transfers sketchy- 130km/hr in an windy 80km/hr zone while the driver was texting or dialling and had the phone to their ear. The transfers seem to be a different company to the shark company and I felt like they hired getaway drivers- really good drivers but speed was extreme.

My activity was cancelled and I was not informed util 9:30am. The activity was supposed to start at 10am. I already did 2 hours of drive to the location at that point!!!! Worst part is that I saw a review with the same experience but did not pay attention as it was only one review. Do not book this experience and specially not last minute!!!! Their website is not up to date and by the time they inform you, you have already wasted a day of your precious holidays
UNTRUE Once again we informed the client without ANY response regarding the cancellation. Very often clients do NOT have data or airtime and DO NOT respond to our messages. TOTALLY UNFOUNDED ACCUSATIONS.
