Carlo gives a very informative discussion about winemaking and about the wines in the area. The tasting room is on his family’s property. Very good area wines and there’s also fresh breads, cheese, olives and ham to go with the tasting.
We're delighted to hear you enjoyed discovering Piedmont's wine traditions with Carlo! Learning about winemaking directly on his family’s property makes the experience truly authentic, and we're happy you appreciated the Barolo, Barbaresco and the traditional local specialties paired with the tasting. Sharing these flavors and stories is what makes this experience so memorable. Grazie!

Carlo was extremely nice and knowledgeable about his family’s legacy. Who better than to show you the wine and vineyards than the grandson of the people who started it! Plenty of tasting options and delicious bites. Would reccomend to anyone who is looking to explore Piedmont!
Thank you for your thoughtful review of our Piedmont Winery Tour. Having Carlo, the founder’s grandson, share his family’s legacy with such warmth and knowledge is something truly special. We’re so glad you enjoyed the generous tastings of Barolo and Barbaresco alongside delicious local bites. Knowing you would recommend this experience to anyone exploring Piedmont is the best compliment we could ask for. We would love to welcome you back for another deep dive into this extraordinary wine region.
Straight off of an international flight connection from Roma to Torino…we were running in essence but hit the ground running! We were initially greeted on the property by his mother; we became intrigued as we listened intently to absorb history/gain knowledge from a multi -generation vineyard owner. Carlo set the stage and shared his in-depth knowledge of “Sobrero Vini” amid the picturesque backdrop of rolling hills …and too, we gained insight of grape harvesting in adjacent Piemonte regions. We made a great choice to explore this small business vineyard. Our fave Barolo bottle flew with us to Sicily and back to NC! Grateful for a terrific and personal Piemonte wine-tasting experience. Highly recommend.
Thank you for this beautifully detailed review of our Piedmont Winery Tour. Arriving straight off an international flight and being welcomed first by Carlo's mother, then by Carlo himself, sounds like the most authentic introduction to a multi-generational family vineyard. We're so glad the history, the personal stories, and the stunning backdrop of rolling hills made such an impression. Knowing that your favourite Barolo bottle travelled all the way from Piedmont to Sicily and then home to North Carolina is the kind of compliment we treasure. Thank you for choosing this small family business, and we would be honoured to welcome you back anytime.
The host was friendly and very proud of his heritage and family winery. He was a joy to talk to, and the wines and his hazelnuts and olives were extraordinary.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your Piedmont winery experience and the warm hospitality of the host. It’s wonderful to know you appreciated the passion behind the family winery, as well as the tasting of Barolo, Barbaresco, and the local products like hazelnuts and olives. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again for another authentic food and wine experience in Piedmont!
Very nice and interesting. Explained very well and with great variety of tastings. Wine of excellent quality
Grazie mille! Siamo felici che abbia apprezzato la varietà degli assaggi e la qualità del vino. Carlo sarà entusiasta dei complimenti per la sua spiegazione. Alla prossima!
Excellent vineyard visit and wine tasting Beautiful views of the valley and vineyard in the Barolo region. Great wine, of course. Knowledgeable and patient host (
Carlos was amazing! His vineyard was immaculate, his knowledge superb- we learned so much about the regional vineyards and wine production methods.
It was very informative and the host Carlo was knowledgeable and took his time answering our questions. However we did not receive our bottle of olive oli that is noted to be included.
