Les vendanges ont toujours été considérées comme un moment de fête à la campagne : après des mois de dur labeur et de sacrifices, tous ces efforts sont enfin récompensés par la maturation des raisins et le moment passionnant de la vinification. Avant la mécanisation, les vendanges étaient effectuées par des familles entières, qui pressaient les raisins pieds nus dans de grandes cuves en bois. Cette méthode douce et traditionnelle était très appréciée, car le pressage des pieds ne stresse pas les raisins. Cette visite est fortement recommandée pour ceux qui veulent vivre une expérience unique tout en découvrant la véritable essence de la vie dans la campagne toscane. La visite d'une cave avec dégustation de vin est incluse; selon la saison, vous pourrez cueillir des raisins ou presser des raisins fournis par nos soins. Découvrez ces étonnantes traditions anciennes et créez un produit authentique et de haute qualité. Le point de rendez-vous est à notre bureau à Castellina in Chianti.

"I LOVE LUCY", tout le monde le sait! Découvrez la même atmosphère authentique qui frappe les raisins dans la campagne toscane! Dans cette authentique ferme familiale, Silvia (la propriétaire) vous préparera un délicieux déjeuner tandis que votre guide vous montrera la ferme. Vous apprendrez l'histoire de la cave qui date de 1825 et comment ils fabriquent du vin, de l'huile d'olive extra vierge et du miel. Pendant le déjeuner, vous dégusterez 4 vins, une grappa et leur production d’huile d’olive extra vierge, accompagnés de pâtes faites maison, de bruschettas, de charcuterie et de biscuits faits maison.

Loved the tour of the winery, the food was amazing, and the grape stomping was a fun touch! The private tour setting was also very nice for experiencing the farm and town of Castellina in Chianti

This is an amazing experience and one that you must do. Made all the more special thanks to the hosts and guide with their fountain of knowledge and overwhelming friendliness and kindness. Francesca, our tour guide, was absolutely fantastic straight from the start. So friendly and warm she made us feel extremely welcome and special, we learned so much from her and she helped make this such a memorable experience that we will never forget. The vineyard itself is just magical, words can not do it justice, you must go and experience this for yourself it is worth every penny I promise you. We would like to especially thank the Piaggia family for welcoming us into their home for a small taste of paradise. The food, the view, and the atmosphere is just on another level to anything we've ever experienced before, and we can't thank Francesca and the Piaggia family enough for making this possible and for exceeding all the expectations that we had. My wife has always wanted to experience grape stomping in a traditional setting and it did not fail to impress at all. We feel so privileged to have been able to visit and learn about the Piaggia family history and what they do for the local area, the wine's not bad either :) If you are considering booking an experience like this then there can be no better place to go than in the hills of Tuscany on a sunny day at La Piaggia. Memories you will cherish forever will be made here. After the tour there are also other places within walkin distance to explore so you can make this a full day of happiness. Plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes, as well as stunning views surround this area. Such an amazing experience! To be on lands that have produced olives and grapes for many many years along with hearing the family’s story on how it came to be was so fascinating. Learned so much about the extra virgin oil and wine processing without using mass production machinery was incredible. This tour was the highlight of our vacation! Our tour guide Jessica was just an absolute delight! She truly made this adventure so much fun! Oh and the grape stomping was hilariously fun!

Lots of fun. Our guide, Phillipo, was super flexible matching the tour to our likes and needs. Grape stomping was fun, but the meal was excellent and prepared in a rustic environment.
This tour was a surprise from my husband on our honeymoon and absolutely could not have been better! Chiare was so knowledgeable, sweet, and fun and truly made this an experience of a lifetime for us! We traveled to Castellina in the Greve in Chianti and then to La Piaggia to experience half a day of touring the 100 year old grounds, grape stomping, lunch, and wine tasting.
